Paiste 16" PSTX Swiss Flanger Cymbal Stack

The Paiste 16" PSTX Swiss Flanger Cymbal Stack is a compact, creative effects stack that delivers everything from dry, trashy hi hat tones to explosive, noisy crash accents. Tuned for an earthy, warm and complex voice with a short, controlled sustain, it is perfect for drummers who want instant character on their kit without taking up much space.

Built from two light, perforated cymbals and voiced for a narrow, focused frequency range, this stack responds beautifully to how you set it up and how you play. Tighten it down for sharp, cutting timekeeping, or loosen it off for wild, shattering crash sounds that leap out of the mix. With a soft, giving feel under the stick and a washy, textured response, it rewards expressive players in rock, pop, electronic and experimental styles alike.

On stage or in the studio, the PSTX Swiss Flanger Stack slots easily into your existing setup and instantly expands your sound palette. Its integrated, washy stick sound and short decay mean it will not swamp your grooves, while the complex, rough mix of frequencies adds a unique, modern edge that standard crashes and hi hats simply cannot match.

Expressive Effects Stack

This 16" Swiss Flanger Stack is voiced for earthy, warm and dry tones with a washy edge, giving you a huge range of effects from a single stand. Whether you are adding trashy accents, glitchy electronic-style textures or aggressive breakdown crashes, it brings a distinctive character that helps your parts stand out.

Adjustable From Dry To Shattering

By simply tightening or loosening the wing nut, you can move from tight, dry, trashy hi hat sounds to shattering, noisy-washy crash effects. This mechanical flexibility lets you fine-tune the response for each song or section without changing cymbals, saving time and keeping your setup streamlined.

Soft Feel With Lively Response

The light weight and soft, giving feel make this stack comfortable and inspiring to play, even at higher volumes. A lively response intensity means it reacts instantly to your dynamics, from subtle ghost notes to full-power accents, so your touch and phrasing always come through.

Focused, Complex Tonality

A fairly narrow frequency range combined with a rough, complex and rich mix gives the PSTX Swiss Flanger Stack a focused yet textured voice. The short sustain and integrated bell character keep your grooves clean and articulate, while still delivering plenty of sonic interest for modern, characterful drum sounds.
