Novation FLpad MIDI Controller

Co-developed with Image Line, Novation FLpad brings fast, hands-on control to FL Studio, giving beatmakers a dedicated hardware interface for sequencing, playing and developing ideas. Its 64 velocity-sensitive, RGB-backlit pads provide an expressive surface for finger drumming, melodic parts, and sample triggering, while the colour-coded grid makes it easy to work with multiple instruments at once. FLpad lets you trigger samples from the Channel Rack, step sequence up to four instruments, create and edit Patterns, and make detailed changes using FL Studio’s Graph Editor. Dedicated layouts provide control for FPC, Slicex and Fruity Slicer, while Note mode lets you play melodies either chromatically or within a selected scale. Dedicated transport and navigation controls keep essential functions close at hand, including playback, recording, undo and redo, quantise and Score Log access. Channel Rack Mixer mode can also transform the grid into a row of faders for convenient level control. FLpad is also compatible with Novation Components, allowing you to create custom layouts for other software and hardware. Six months of FL Studio Producer Edition is included, alongside additional instruments, effects and Melodics lessons.

• Dedicated FL Studio Control - Take direct control of the Channel Rack, Patterns, sequencing and essential transport functions without constantly reaching for your computer.
• Expressive 64 Pad Grid - Play drums, melodies and basslines with velocity-sensitive pads, with dedicated layouts for FPC, Slicex and Fruity Slicer.
• Advanced Sequencing Tools - Sequence up to four instruments simultaneously, edit notes with the Graph Editor and customise layouts through Novation Components.

Hands-On FL Studio Production:

FLpad is designed specifically around the creative workflow of FL Studio, putting many of its essential production functions directly beneath your fingers. Use the 64 pad grid to trigger samples from the Channel Rack, create Patterns and build ideas without interrupting your workflow. Sequencer view allows you to work with up to four Channel Rack instruments simultaneously, giving you a clear, colour-coded overview of your parts. Dedicated buttons provide quick access to playback, recording, undo and redo, while additional controls let you navigate the sequencer and Channel Rack. You can also access the Score Log, quantise notes and switch to Channel Rack Mixer mode, turning the grid into a convenient set of faders for level control.

Play, Sequence and Edit:

The velocity-sensitive pads provide an expressive way to perform drums, basslines and melodies, whether you prefer playing parts live or building them step by step. Note mode turns the grid into a playable keyboard, with the option to lock notes to a chosen scale or work chromatically. Dedicated layouts are available for FPC, Slicex and Fruity Slicer, giving you intuitive control over different FL Studio instruments and sample-based workflows. FLpad also provides direct access to the Graph Editor, allowing you to edit details such as velocity, pitch and note repeats directly from the grid. This combination of performance and detailed editing makes it possible to develop ideas without constantly switching between hardware and your computer.

Software and Customisation:

FLpad includes six months of FL Studio Producer Edition, giving you a complete starting point for recording, editing, mixing and mastering music. The included software provides more than 100 instruments and effects, alongside unlimited audio clips, stem separation, loops, samples and presets. Additional software includes GForce Oberheim SEM, Oberheim OB E, AXXESS, Klevgrand LUXE, Klevgrand Slammer and UVI Prime 8+. Melodics also provides a selection of lessons designed to help develop your pad playing skills.
