Product Description
The Meinl Waxed 2B Drumsticks in American Hickory are designed for drummers who want power, control and a secure grip in one reliable pair of sticks. With a medium light weight, classic 2B dimensions and a thin wax coating for extra hold, they deliver a clear, defined sound on drums and a full, musical response from your cymbals.
Made in Germany from durable American hickory, these sticks combine a balanced feel with a vintage look. The medium length shaft keeps them responsive and easy to control, while the acorn tip shape helps your playing speak clearly in any style, from rock and pop through to heavier genres.
Balanced Power and Control
The 2B size gives you extra mass compared to thinner sticks, helping you draw more volume and body from your kit without having to overplay. At the same time, the medium light weight and carefully balanced shaft keep them from feeling clumsy or tiring, so you can play longer sets with consistent control.
Comfortable Waxed Grip
A thin layer of wax is applied to each stick to improve grip and comfort. This subtle coating helps your hands stay connected to the sticks, especially under hot lights or during intense gigs, without feeling sticky or overly textured. It also gives the surface a tasteful, vintage style appearance.
Clear, Musical Response
The acorn shaped tip is designed to give a clear, defined sound on your drums and a full, rich tonal response on your cymbals. Rimshots, ghost notes and ride patterns all speak with precision, making these sticks a great choice if you want articulation as well as power.
Durable American Hickory
Crafted from American hickory, these sticks offer an ideal blend of strength, flexibility and shock absorption. Hickory helps reduce the impact that reaches your hands and wrists, while standing up well to regular practice and performance.
Features
- 2B Size with Medium Light Weight - The classic 2B diameter provides extra power and presence, while the medium light weight keeps the sticks agile and comfortable. This combination lets you hit hard when you need to, without sacrificing speed or finesse.
- Waxed Finish for Enhanced Grip - A thin wax layer improves grip security and confidence in your hands. It helps prevent slipping during longer sessions, so you can focus on your playing rather than constantly readjusting your sticks.
- Acorn Tip for Defined, Full Tone - The acorn shaped tip delivers a clear, articulate attack on drums and a full, musical wash on cymbals. This makes it easier to shape your dynamics and ensure every note is heard in the mix.
- American Hickory, Made in Germany - Using resilient American hickory and precise German manufacturing, these sticks offer durability, consistent quality and a familiar, responsive feel under the hands.
