Meinl Sonic Energy Mixed Seed Chimes, Kenari / Bendo / Pangi

The Meinl Sonic Energy Mixed Seed Chimes combine Kenari, Bendo, and Pangi seed nutshells on a solid mahogany bar to create a beautifully organic soundscape. Played like traditional chimes but with a completely different tonal character, they produce a soft, flowing wash of sound that is ideal for relaxation, meditation, sound therapy, or adding subtle texture to acoustic and percussive setups.

By blending three distinct natural seed types, these chimes offer a gentle, water like shimmer rather than a bright metallic ring. The result is a soothing, earthy timbre that sits comfortably in the background, helping you create calming atmospheres in yoga studios, therapy rooms, classrooms, or at home. With the option to attach them to a stand, they integrate easily into larger percussion rigs or fixed installations.

Crafted from natural materials, every set of Mixed Seed Chimes is visually unique, with individual variations in colour, grain, and seed shape that underline their organic character. Treated with care and kept away from heat, direct sunlight, and extreme climates, they will remain a reliable and inspiring tool for relaxation and sound exploration.

Organic, Water Like Sound

Instead of the bright, metallic tone of standard chimes, the Mixed Seed Chimes deliver a soft, rustling sound that recalls flowing water. This makes them perfect for creating immersive soundscapes that relax rather than startle, supporting breath work, meditation, and gentle musical passages.

Three Seed Types for Rich Texture

Kenari, Bendo, and Pangi seed nutshells each contribute their own subtle tonal qualities, combining into a layered, complex sound. This natural blend keeps the ear engaged without being intrusive, making these chimes ideal for long sessions where a consistent, calming ambience is required.

Solid Mahogany Bar

The seed shells are mounted on a solid piece of mahogany, providing a stable, resonant base. This enhances projection and consistency while giving the instrument a warm, natural look that fits beautifully into acoustic, therapeutic, or home environments.

Naturally Unique Instrument

Because the Mixed Seed Chimes are made from real wood and natural seed shells, each one carries its own individual markings, colour variations, and textures. These natural features are a sign of authenticity and ensure that your chimes have a one of a kind appearance to match their distinctive sound.

• Mix of Different Seed Nutshells - Kenari, Bendo, and Pangi seeds combine to create a rich, organic sound palette. The interplay between the different shells adds depth and nuance, giving you a more interesting and musical response than single material chimes.
• Relaxing Sound Characteristics - The soft, earthy tone is inherently calming, making these chimes ideal for meditation, yoga, sound baths, and any setting where a peaceful atmosphere is essential.
• Sound Reminds of Flowing Water - Their gentle, continuous shimmer evokes the sound of a stream or gentle rainfall, helping listeners unwind and mentally escape busy or stressful environments.
• Can Be Attached to a Stand - With the ability to mount the chimes on a stand, you can position them perfectly in your setup, keep your hands free for other instruments, and integrate them easily into live or studio rigs.
