Product Description
The MEINL Cajon Preamp is a compact, robust pickup and preamp system designed to bring your cajon to life through any PA or recording setup. With a wide ranging tone control, phase switch and high quality signal output, it lets you dial in a clear, powerful sound that suits your playing style and the unique character of your cajon.
By mounting the transducer on the inside top panel near the playing surface, the MEINL Cajon Preamp captures the natural attack, warmth and resonance of your instrument. Whether you are performing live, rehearsing with a band or tracking in the studio, it delivers a consistent, controllable signal that helps your cajon sit perfectly in the mix.
Tailored Sound For Any Cajon
The MEINL Cajon Preamp is designed to work with the individual voice of your cajon, rather than forcing a one size fits all sound. Its pickup and preamp combination can be tuned to the particular tonal characteristics of your instrument, so you can emphasise deep bass, crisp slaps or a balanced, natural response depending on the music you play.
Wide Ranging Tone Control
A single, musical tone control gives you a broad sweep from warm, rounded lows to bright, articulate highs. This makes it easy to adapt quickly to different rooms, ensembles and styles, whether you need extra clarity to cut through a band or a smoother, darker sound for more intimate settings.
Phase Switch For Clearer Mixes
The built in phase switch lets you change the overall timbre of your cajon signal at the flick of a switch. This is especially useful when playing with other amplified instruments or microphones, helping you reduce phase issues, tighten up the low end and achieve a more focused, defined sound in the mix.
Simple Installation And Reliable Performance
Placing the transducer on the inside top panel near the playing surface gives you the best balance of attack and resonance, while keeping the system discreet and protected. Built to be robust and road ready, the MEINL Cajon Preamp offers a dependable, high quality output that you can plug straight into mixers, interfaces or amplifiers with confidence.
