Meinl HCS 8" Splash Cymbal

The Meinl HCS 8" Splash cymbal is a compact, fast and bright accent cymbal designed to add instant excitement to your kit without breaking the bank. Made from durable MS63 brass alloy and voiced to sit perfectly with the rest of the HCS range, it is an ideal first splash for beginners and a great value add-on for any drummer building out their sound.

With its thin weight and small 8" diameter, the HCS Splash speaks quickly and gets out of the way just as fast. That makes it perfect for quick stabs, punchy accents and short, sharp bursts of colour in fills or grooves. Whether you are putting together your first full cymbal set or simply want an affordable way to expand your tonal palette, this splash gives you a musical, controlled sound at an unbeatable price point.

Part of Meinl's popular HCS series, the HCS 8" Splash is specially matched to work seamlessly alongside other HCS crashes, rides and hi hats. This makes it easy to build a coherent, great sounding setup over time, knowing each new cymbal will complement the rest of your rig. The MS63 alloy offers a bright, cutting character that projects clearly in practice rooms, rehearsals and small gigs, helping your accents be heard without needing to hit harder.

Because it is thin and responsive, the HCS Splash also reacts well at lower volumes. Light taps produce crisp, glassy tones that are ideal for quieter passages, dynamic builds and more expressive playing. It is a simple, no fuss way to bring more life and personality to your drumming, whatever style you play.

Fast, Bright Accent Sounds

The small 8" size and thin weight give the HCS Splash a very quick attack and short decay, perfect for sharp, bright accents that cut through the mix. This helps you punctuate fills and transitions with clarity, without your splash washing over the rest of the kit.

Durable MS63 Alloy Construction

Crafted from MS63 brass alloy, this cymbal delivers a focused, bright tone while remaining tough enough for regular practice and rehearsals. The robust construction provides reliable performance, so you can concentrate on playing rather than worrying about your gear.

Specially Matched within the HCS Series

The HCS 8" Splash is voiced to blend naturally with other cymbals in the Meinl HCS range. This makes it easy to expand your setup piece by piece, knowing each cymbal will complement the others tonally for a more cohesive overall sound.
