Product Description
The Meinl HCS 16" Trash Crash is an affordable, fast and explosive effects cymbal that adds instant aggression and character to any beginner or practice kit. Crafted from Meinl's MS63 brass alloy, it delivers a sharp, trashy attack with a quick decay, making it ideal for accents, breakdowns and punchy fills in pop and rock settings.
Designed as part of the HCS range, this 16" Trash Crash gives new drummers access to a distinctive, modern cymbal sound at a very realistic price. The thin weight keeps it responsive and easy to control, while the specially matched voicing ensures it blends naturally with other HCS cymbals. If you want to expand your sonic palette without blowing the budget, this is a simple, effective upgrade that you will actually use every time you sit down at the kit.
Trashy, Explosive Accent Sounds
The HCS 16" Trash Crash is built to deliver a raw, cutting attack with a deliberately trashy character. This makes it perfect for bold accents, stabs and dramatic transitions that stand out clearly in a mix. Whether you are hitting hard in a chorus or punctuating a fill, it gives you that instant burst of energy that modern pop and rock demand.
MS63 Brass Alloy Construction
Made from Meinl's MS63 brass alloy, this cymbal offers a warm, musical tone while remaining robust enough for regular practice and gigging at entry level. The alloy gives you a smooth, controlled sound that is easy on the ears, helping developing drummers focus on feel and timing without harsh overtones getting in the way.
Thin, Fast and Responsive
With its thin weight, the HCS 16" Trash Crash responds quickly to every stroke, from light touches to full-power hits. The fast attack and short sustain mean it gets in and out of the way quickly, so your grooves stay tight and defined. This makes it especially useful on smaller kits or in practice spaces where you want impact without excessive wash.
Part of the HCS Family
As part of the HCS series, this Trash Crash is specially matched to sit comfortably alongside other HCS cymbals. That means you can build a complete, great-sounding setup piece by piece, knowing each cymbal will complement the others. It is an easy way to expand your sound with confidence while keeping your overall investment under control.
