Crafted from durable MS63 brass alloy and matched to sit naturally within the HCS range, it is an ideal way to expand your kit with sharp, musical splashes without stretching your budget.

Whether you are punctuating fills, adding colour to grooves or layering textures in the studio, this compact splash responds instantly and gets out of the way just as quickly.
Thanks to its thin weight, the cymbal opens up with the lightest touch, making it easy to control at low volumes while still having enough bite to cut through a full band mix. The specially matched voicing means it blends seamlessly with other HCS cymbals, giving you a cohesive overall sound as your setup grows.
If you are building your first serious cymbal collection or simply want a reliable, great-sounding splash for everyday use, the Meinl HCS 12" Splash offers impressive performance and consistency at a price that is hard to beat.
Fast, Cutting Splash Accents
The HCS 12" Splash is voiced for an immediate, bright response, giving you sharp, defined accents that are easy to place in any style of music. Its quick attack and short sustain keep your playing tight and articulate, perfect for punchy fills and rhythmic punctuation.
Thin Weight for Instant Response
Built with a thin profile, this splash speaks at the lightest touch, making it ideal for dynamic players and quieter settings. The reduced mass allows the cymbal to open up quickly and decay naturally, so your accents stay crisp without becoming overbearing.
Durable MS63 Alloy Construction
Crafted from MS63 brass alloy, the HCS 12" Splash balances musicality with durability, giving beginners and working drummers a dependable cymbal that can handle regular practice and performance. The alloy delivers a focused, bright tone that remains consistent gig after gig.
Specially Matched within the HCS Series
This splash is specially matched to complement the rest of the HCS range, ensuring a cohesive overall kit sound as you add more cymbals. Its tonal character sits naturally alongside HCS hi hats, crashes and rides, making it easy to build a balanced, musical setup over time.
