Product Description
The Meinl 6 inch Marshmallow Practice Pad in black is a compact, ultra-quiet solution for drummers who want to keep their hands in shape at any time of day or night. Its specially formulated, super-thick foam playing surface delivers a satisfying rebound while drastically reducing volume, so you can work on your chops without disturbing anyone around you.
Perfect for home practice, backstage warmups or on the move, this pad combines a modern composite base with a non-slip underside, letting you place it confidently on desks, tabletops or drumheads. An integrated 8 mm threaded insert also means you can mount it on a cymbal stand for a more natural playing height, making it a versatile tool for drummers of all levels.
Quiet Practice with Realistic Rebound
The Marshmallow Pad uses a super-thick foam surface that has been specially developed to provide medium rebound at an ultra-low volume level. This lets you practise rudiments, stick control and endurance exercises with a feel that remains responsive and musical, while keeping noise to a minimum so you can play for longer without worrying about your surroundings.
Compact 6 Inch Size
With a 6 inch diameter, this pad is small enough to slip into a stick bag or backpack, making it ideal for drummers on the go. The compact size encourages focused, accurate sticking and is perfect for warming up before gigs, rehearsals or studio sessions when space is tight.
Stable, Non Slip Composite Base
The solid modern composite base is designed to stay put while you play, with a padded underside that grips to most surfaces. This stability helps you concentrate on your technique rather than chasing the pad around, and means you can use it on a variety of flat surfaces with confidence.
Cymbal Stand Mounting Option
An 8 mm threaded insert on the underside of the pad allows you to mount it on a standard cymbal stand. This gives you the option of practising at your usual kit height and angle, helping your practice time translate more directly to your drum set playing.
Features
- Ultra Quiet Marshmallow Foam Surface - The specially formulated, super-thick foam delivers medium rebound with significantly reduced volume, so you can build muscle memory and refine your technique without creating excessive noise.
- Compact 6 Inch Design - The 6 inch diameter makes this pad highly portable and easy to store, ideal for travel, backstage warmups or quick practice sessions wherever you are.
- Non Slip Composite Base - A solid modern composite base with a padded underside keeps the pad stable on a wide range of surfaces, helping you maintain consistent stick response and control.
- Cymbal Stand Mountable - An integrated 8 mm threaded insert lets you mount the pad on a cymbal stand, allowing you to practise at a realistic playing height and integrate it easily into your existing setup.
