Meinl 12 inch Marshmallow Practice Pad Sea Foam

The Meinl 12 inch Marshmallow Practice Pad in Sea Foam is designed to let you work on your chops quietly, wherever and whenever you like. Its super-thick, specially formulated foam surface delivers a satisfying, medium rebound while keeping volume to an absolute minimum, so you can focus on technique without disturbing anyone around you.

Perfect for drummers of all levels, this pad is ideal for running rudiments, refining stick control or simply keeping your hands in shape between rehearsals and gigs. The compact 12 inch size is easy to carry, while the non-slip composite base and underside padding keep it stable on any flat surface. An integrated 8 mm threaded insert also lets you mount it on a cymbal stand for a more realistic playing height.

Whether you are warming up backstage, squeezing in late-night practice at home or working through exercises in a teaching studio, the Meinl Marshmallow Pad gives you a responsive, low-noise platform to build speed, control and endurance. The soft Sea Foam finish adds a modern, stylish touch to your practice setup too.

Ultra-Quiet Marshmallow Foam Surface

The heart of this pad is its super-thick, Marshmallow-style foam playing surface. It offers a comfortable, medium rebound that feels natural under the sticks while drastically reducing acoustic volume. That means you can practise for longer sessions without ear fatigue and without bothering housemates, neighbours or bandmates.

Stable, Non-Slip Composite Base

A solid modern composite base gives the pad a reassuringly sturdy feel, so it will not flex or wobble as you play. The underside is padded and non-slip, allowing you to place it on desks, tables, drum thrones or snare drums with confidence that it will stay put while you work through your exercises.

Mountable on Cymbal Stands

Equipped with an 8 mm threaded insert, the Marshmallow Pad can be mounted on a standard cymbal stand. This lets you position it at your usual snare height and angle, helping you maintain proper posture and muscle memory while keeping the noise down in rehearsal rooms, teaching spaces or at home.

Compact 12 Inch Size

With a 12 inch diameter, this pad strikes a balance between portability and a realistic playing area. It is large enough to feel comfortable for full stick patterns and rudiments, yet compact enough to slip into a bag or backpack so you can take it to lessons, rehearsals or on the road.

• Medium Rebound Marshmallow Foam Surface - The specially formulated foam provides a responsive, medium rebound that feels great under the sticks while keeping volume extremely low, allowing you to practise technique and rudiments without excessive noise.
• Mountable on Cymbal Stands - An integrated 8 mm threaded insert means you can mount the pad on a cymbal stand, placing it at your usual snare height to maintain correct playing posture and realistic setup during quiet practice.
• Non-Slip Composite Base - The solid composite base with padded underside sits securely on a variety of surfaces, helping the pad stay in place so you can focus on your playing rather than chasing it around the room.
• Compact 12 Inch Design - A 12 inch diameter offers a familiar playing area in a compact form, making the pad easy to transport while still giving you enough space for full strokes, stickings and control work.
