Product Description
The Martin X Series is all about making great tone more accessible, and the 000-X2E Brazilian Burst Special is no exception. Whether you're gigging, songwriting or just jamming at home, this mid-sized electro-acoustic delivers the big, powerful sound Martin is known for, wrapped up in a seriously cool vintage-inspired finish.
Classic Martin tone
The satin-finished solid Spruce top looks the part, while the Brazilian Rosewood-patterned HPL (high-pressure laminate) back and sides provide plenty of classic Martin style without compromising durability. Together, they deliver strong projection, a rich low end and plenty of punch and clarity across all six strings.
Comfortable and expressive
Playability is front and centre here. The 24.9" scale length offers a slightly slinkier feel than many acoustics, making it easier on your fingers and allowing for even more expression. A thinner fingerboard with a gently bevelled edge, refined string spacing and a modern bridge contour all contribute to a comfortable playing experience that's ideal for longer sessions.
Eye-catching details throughout
This Special Edition also sets itself apart from other X Series models with a range of premium-looking appointments, including faux mother-of-pearl diamond and square fingerboard inlays, a faux abalone single-ring rosette and a distinctive Martin block logo on the headstock.
Ready for the stage and the studio
Plug in and play with confidence thanks to the built-in Martin E1 electronics. This responsive pickup system features a handy chromatic tuner alongside straightforward Volume and Tone controls. There's also a useful Phase switch, which reverses the phase by 180 degrees to help combat feedback and tighten up the low end.
To make life even easier, Martin includes a softshell case, so your 000-X2E Brazilian Burst Special is ready to go wherever your music takes you.
