Product Description
The Mapex Saturn VI 8x7 Tom Pack in Exotic Natural Burst is a premium add-on tom designed to expand your Saturn kit with focused attack, rich musical tone and stunning looks. Featuring the signature Maple/Walnut hybrid shell, SONIClear bearing edges and suspension, plus a TH800 tom holder included in the box, this compact tom is ready to drop straight into your set-up.
At 8x7 inches, this tom delivers a tight, articulate voice that cuts clearly through the mix while still sounding full and warm. The Exotic Natural Maple finish shows off the beautiful grain of the outer ply, making it a real visual highlight on stage or in the studio. Whether you are building a larger Saturn VI rig or simply adding a higher voice for more melodic options, this tom offers professional performance and reliability.
Under the hood, the 6 ply Maple/Walnut shell and 2.3mm Power Hoops give you a powerful, controlled sound with excellent projection and tuning stability. Mapexs SONIClear technology on both the bearing edges and suspension system helps the head sit perfectly on the shell and allows the drum to resonate freely, making tuning easier and ensuring a consistent, musical tone at any pitch.
With chrome hardware, chamber specific nodal line air vents and the robust TH800 tom holder included, the Saturn VI 8x7 Tom Pack is a practical, great-sounding upgrade for drummers who want pro-level tone, effortless tuning and a classy, natural aesthetic.
Maple/Walnut Hybrid Shell
The 6 ply Maple/Walnut shell combines the warmth and musicality of maple with the focused low-end punch of walnut. This hybrid construction gives the 8x7 tom a rich, modern voice that sits perfectly in contemporary rock, pop, fusion and beyond, adding depth and character without overpowering the rest of your kit.
SONIClear Bearing Edges
SONIClear bearing edges help the drumhead make full, even contact with the shell, improving resonance and making tuning quicker and more predictable. You can dial in clear, usable tones across a wide tuning range, so the tom responds consistently whether you prefer tight, high pitches or a slightly lower, more rounded sound.
SONIClear Tom Suspension
The SONIClear suspension system isolates the tom from the mounting hardware, allowing it to vibrate more freely. This results in better sustain, improved clarity and a more open tone, while also helping to reduce unwanted choking or interference from stands and racks.
Included TH800 Tom Holder
The included TH800 tom holder provides a solid, adjustable mounting solution straight out of the box. It is designed to work seamlessly with the SONIClear suspension, giving you stable positioning and easy angle adjustments so you can place the tom exactly where you need it for comfortable playing.
