Mapex Saturn Evolution In Brunswick Green 22", 10", 12", 16"

The Mapex Saturn Evolution Birch/Walnut shell pack in Brunswick Green is a powerful, professional drum kit built for players who need punch, projection and musicality in equal measure. With a 22 inch bass drum, 10 and 12 inch rack toms and 16 inch floor tom, this configuration delivers a huge, modern rock voice, while the birch and walnut hybrid shells provide dark, controlled tones that sit perfectly in any mix.

Combining Mapexs Halo suspension system, SONIClear bearing edges and Specific Shell Construction, Saturn Evolution unlocks maximum resonance, effortless tuning and a wide dynamic range. Finished in a stunning Brunswick Green lacquer with chrome hardware, it looks every bit as serious as it sounds, whether you are in the studio or on stage.

Flagship Hybrid Shells

At the heart of Saturn Evolution is a birch and walnut hybrid shell recipe. Birch boosts the attack and clarity, giving you a cutting, articulate response, while walnut adds warmth, depth and a darker character. The result is a kit that feels controlled and musical, with a powerful low end and a focused top that works for everything from tight studio grooves to big, open live sounds.

Halo Suspension for Maximum Resonance

The rack toms are mounted using Mapexs Halo suspension system, an under-lug-line isolation design that lifts the drum away from rigid contact points. This allows each tom to resonate freely, producing open, singing tones with impressive sustain and clarity. Your toms feel more alive under the sticks, responding to light touches and heavy hits with equal confidence.

Specific Shell Construction and SONIClear Edges

Mapexs Specific Shell Construction tailors the thickness of each shell to its size, with deeper shells and thicker plies on larger drums to optimise projection and tone. Paired with SONIClear bearing edges, which increase head-to-shell contact, the kit delivers a deeper fundamental pitch, stronger note definition and a noticeably easier tuning experience across a wide range of tensions.

Stage-Ready Brunswick Green Finish

The Brunswick Green SAS lacquer finish gives the kit a sleek, modern aesthetic that stands out under stage lights without being over the top. Chrome hardware and Sonic Saver hoops complete the look, while also contributing to consistent tuning and a solid, reliable feel. It is a kit that looks as premium as it sounds, ready for any professional setting.

• Birch/Walnut Hybrid Shells - The combination of bright, punchy birch with warm, balanced walnut delivers dark, powerful and dry tones with plenty of attack. This hybrid construction helps your drums cut through dense mixes while still sounding full and musical at lower volumes.
• Halo Suspension Tom Mounts - Mapexs Halo mounting system isolates the toms from hardware contact, allowing them to resonate freely. This translates into more sustain, clearer pitch and a more open, expressive feel that responds beautifully to dynamics.
• SONIClear Bearing Edges - Precision SONIClear bearing edges increase head-to-shell contact for improved resonance and a deeper fundamental note. They also make tuning quicker and more consistent, so you can dial in your sound with less effort and keep it locked in for longer.
• Brunswick Green SAS Lacquer Finish - The high-quality Brunswick Green lacquer, combined with chrome hardware and Sonic Saver hoops, gives the kit a striking, professional appearance. The SAS finish also contributes to a slightly heightened overall pitch and lively response, ideal for modern playing styles.
