Product Description
The Loog ukulele is an amazing way to get started with playing an instrument! Ukuleles are little acoustic instruments similar to guitars, but with a much smaller body and neck, and just four strings tuned to G-C-E-A so you get a more playful, cute sound. They’re a brilliant entry way into playing a stringed instrument and all the techniques you or your young one learns on a ukulele can be transferred to a full-size guitar.
Loog’s ukulele is no toy – it offers an authentic playing experience for any beginner or casual player, featuring quality woods and hardware. Growing guitarists and adults will have a great time playing the uke throughout their formative years.
Features
Perfect size for growing guitarists
Any new player will feel really comfortable playing the Loog uke. This is because it has a scale length of 34.7 centimetres, which is around the same size as the smallest soprano ukulele. There’s a reduced gap between the 15 frets to keep things simple and accessible for learners.
Nylon string sound and feel
The Loog uke is a great choice for beginners thanks to the nylon strings, which are much softer and easier to fret than what you’d typically find with an acoustic guitar. They also change the way the instrument sounds, giving it a pleasant airy, gentle tone.
Accessories, video lessons and flash cards all included
You get incredible value for money and plenty of ways to keep your child playing and progressing on the ukulele. Your new Loog comes with plectrums used to pluck the strings, flashcards to quickly memorise how to play chords and notes, and access to the brilliant Loog app. Explore a library of games, video lessons, a learn-to-play songbook with note-by-note tutorials, and even an interactive TV show to make learning really fun!
