Product Description
The Loog Mini is the perfect way to get your budding musician into playing an instrument! Acoustic guitars are gorgeous instruments to learn to play, and the Loog Mini shrinks the style, sound and feel of a full-sized guitar down to a comfortable size for kids to handle.
These Mini guitars offer an authentic playing experience for children aged 3 and up, featuring quality woods and hardware like their larger counterparts, but at a much shorter scale and body size with just three strings. Growing guitarists will have a great time playing the Mini throughout their formative years.
Features
Three string design for youngsters
The big difference between the Loog and a full-sized acoustic are the three strings in place of the standard six. This makes playing single notes and triads (three-string chords) much easier for smaller hands and new players to process. Everything learned by playing a Loog can be applied to a larger or full-sized guitar when your rockstar is ready to make that step up.
Perfect scale length for growing guitarists
Children aged three and up will likely find the Mini to be the ideal size. This is because it has a dinky scale length of 15.6 inches, which means there's a reduced gap between the frets for small hands. It comes with 15 frets to keep things simple and accessible for learners.
Nylon string sound and feel
A lot of contemporary acoustic guitars are equipped with steel strings, but these can be tough on the fingers of growing players. The Loog Mini acoustic instead comes with nylon strings like that of a classical guitar, which are much softer and easier to fret. They also change the way the guitar sounds, giving it an airier, gentler tone made extremely pleasant on the ears in combination with the basswood and maple woods used to construct the guitar.
Accessories, video lessons and flash cards all included
You get incredible value for money and plenty of ways to keep your child playing and progressing on the guitar. Your new Loog Pro comes with plectrums used to pluck the guitar strings, flashcards to quickly memorise how to play chords and notes, and access to the brilliant Loog app. Explore a library of games, video lessons, a learn-to-play songbook with note-by-note tutorials, and even an interactive TV show to make learning really fun!
