The Lollar sB Strat Bridge Pickup in Matte Black / Nickel delivers the muscular, vocal punch of one coil from Lollar’s acclaimed dB humbucker in a convenient Strat-sized package. Designed as a direct drop-in for a traditional Strat bridge route, it swaps the usual glassy, scooped single-coil character for a thicker, smoother PAF-inspired voice with enhanced sustain, note bloom and a powerful lower midrange focus.

Retaining the clarity and definition that Lollar’s blade-style single-coils are known for, the sB Strat Bridge Pickup offers a more authoritative bridge tone that still cleans up beautifully with your volume control. Use it as part of a full three-pickup sB set, or pair it with a dB humbucker in the bridge of another guitar for a consistent tonal family across your rig.

PAF-Inspired Power in a Strat Format

The sB for Strat takes one side of the Lollar dB humbucker and reshapes it to fit a standard Strat bridge cavity. The result is a bridge pickup that feels more like a smooth, vintage PAF than a bright, scooped single-coil. Expect a stronger fundamental, richer lower mids and a more vocal attack that flatters everything from classic rock crunch to modern gain tones.

Thicker Voice with Exceptional Clarity

While the sB Strat Bridge Pickup is noticeably thicker and fuller than a typical Strat bridge unit, it never turns muddy. The blade design keeps string-to-string balance even, while the carefully tuned wind (around 7.2K DC resistance) maintains excellent note separation. Chords stay articulate, lead lines sing, and your picking dynamics remain front and centre.

Designed to Match the dB Humbucker Family

Since the launch of the dB humbucker, players have been asking for single-coil-sized pickups that share its aesthetic, output and tonal character. The sB series answers that call. You can run an sB bridge alongside sB neck and middle pickups for a cohesive three-pickup Strat set, or integrate them with a full-sized dB humbucker in other guitars to keep a familiar feel and response across different instruments.

Easy Drop-In Upgrade

The sB Strat Bridge Pickup is built to fit a traditional Strat-style bridge route, making it a straightforward upgrade for players who want more authority from their bridge position without routing or major modifications. Recommended with 500k pots and a 0.047μF capacitor, it slots neatly into modern wiring schemes while unlocking a more robust, expressive bridge tone.

• Strat-Sized Coil from the dB Humbucker - By using one side of the acclaimed dB humbucker in a Strat footprint, the sB bridge delivers a smoother, more powerful voice than a standard single-coil, giving you humbucker-like richness without altering your guitar’s routing.
• Thick, PAF-Like Tonality - A vocal lower midrange and strong sustain replace the typical bright, scooped Strat bridge sound, helping solos cut with authority and rhythm parts feel more substantial while still sitting comfortably in a mix.
• Blade Design for Even String Response - The blade polepiece ensures consistent output across all strings, ideal for wide bends and alternative tunings, and maintains the clarity and definition associated with Lollar’s other blade-style single-coils.
• Optimised for 500k Electronics - Voiced to work with 500k potentiometers and a 0.047μF capacitor, the sB bridge balances warmth and bite, giving you a wide, usable sweep on your volume and tone controls for both clean and driven sounds.
