Lollar sB Strat Bridge Pickup in Matte Black / Chrome

The Lollar sB Strat Bridge pickup in Matte Black / Chrome is a blade-style single coil voiced to give your Strat a thicker, more vocal bridge tone with the smoothness of a low-output PAF. Designed as a drop-in replacement for a traditional Strat bridge pickup, it delivers stronger sustain, a blooming note attack and a focused lower midrange while still keeping the clarity and definition that Lollar blade pickups are known for.

Instead of the bright, glassy and scooped character of a typical Strat bridge single coil, the sB Strat Bridge leans into a richer, more muscular sound that sits beautifully in a mix. Chords sound fuller, single notes sing with a rounded top end, and overdriven tones gain extra body without turning muddy. If you love the feel of a Strat but want a bridge position that behaves more like a refined humbucker voice, this pickup is built for you.

Part of the same family as Lollar’s dB humbucker, the sB Strat Bridge takes one side of that design and reshapes it to fit a standard Strat route. That means you can enjoy the power, punch and aesthetic of the dB concept in a single-coil footprint, ideal for modern S-style builds and upgrades. Paired with 500k pots and a 0.047μF capacitor, it responds dynamically to your picking and volume control, going from articulate cleans to singing drive with ease.

Blade-Style Single Coil with PAF-Inspired Voice

The sB Strat Bridge is based on one coil of Lollar’s dB humbucker, tuned for a smooth, PAF-like response rather than the typical spiky Strat bridge sound. You get a vocal lower midrange and rounded highs that tame ice-pick treble, making your bridge position far more usable for leads, riffs and rhythm work.

Thicker Tone with Enhanced Sustain and Bloom

Compared to a standard Strat bridge pickup, the sB delivers a noticeably thicker, more substantial sound. Notes have a stronger sustain and a blooming attack that feels expressive under the fingers, ideal for players who want their bridge position to sing rather than snap.

Clear, Defined and Mix-Friendly

Despite its added girth, the sB Strat Bridge retains the clarity and definition associated with Lollar’s blade single coils. Complex chords stay articulate, and driven tones remain tight and focused, helping your parts cut through a band mix without harshness.

Drop-In Strat Fit with Modern Aesthetic

Designed to fit a traditional Strat pickup route, the sB Strat Bridge is a straightforward upgrade for most S-style guitars. The Matte Black / Chrome finish adds a sleek, contemporary look that complements everything from classic builds to modern hot-rodded Strats.

• PAF-Inspired Bridge Voicing - Voiced to echo the smooth, vocal character of a classic PAF rather than a bright, scooped Strat bridge pickup, giving you a more musical and versatile bridge tone for leads and rhythm.
• Blade-Style Coil Design - The continuous blade ensures even string-to-string response and consistent output, so bends and vibrato stay balanced across the fretboard with no dead spots.
• Thicker Sound with Strong Sustain - Offers a fuller, meatier tone and enhanced sustain compared to typical Strat bridge pickups, helping solos sing and rhythm parts feel more authoritative.
• Strat Drop-In with Matte Black / Chrome Look - Fits a standard Strat bridge route for an easy upgrade, while the Matte Black / Chrome styling brings a modern, high-end aesthetic to your instrument.
