If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Loaded with custom HH speakers, two completely independent channels and Laney's innovative LA·IR tech for studio-quality direct outputs, the IRF120-212 combines classic amp feel with the connectivity today's guitarists demand.
Authentic analogue feel
At the heart of the IRF120-212 is a fully analogue signal path designed to give you the responsiveness and touch sensitivity that make great amps feel alive under your fingers. Rather than relying on digital modelling or algos, Laney has recreated the behaviour of its renowned Ironheart valve circuitry entirely in analogue form.
The result? An amp that reacts naturally to your picking dynamics and playing style, delivering the punch, immediacy and organic feel you'd usually associate with quality valve gear, but with all the reliability and convenience of a solid-state design.
Two channels, six distinct voices
Each channel offers three selectable modes, giving you six distinct tonal flavours to explore. Channel 1 includes Clean for maximum headroom and a pedal-friendly foundation, Asym for vintage-inspired breakup and Sym for a tighter, more focused drive that cuts through the mix. Channel 2 takes things in a different direction, with Bright adding sparkle and presence for leads, Flat delivering a balanced full-range response and Dark smoothing off the top end for warmer, rounder tones.
Each channel has its own dedicated 3-band passive tone stack too. This means that Channel 1 and Channel 2 can be voiced totally independently (different EQ curves, gain characters, etc.) with zero interaction between them.
Modern connectivity for today’s players
The IRF120-212 isn't just built for the stage. Thanks to Laney's LA·IR (Laney Analogue Impulse Response) technology, it's equally at home in the studio. Built directly into the XLR output, LA·IR allows you to load your own cabinet impulse responses or choose from Laney's selection of expertly curated cabs. So, you can get a polished mic’d-cabinet sound straight from the amp, whether you're recording into your DAW, sending a signal to the front of house desk at a venue or practising silently at home.

- Footswitchable Pre-Boost: Using the same footswitch, you can give your solos a lift whenever you like with added sustain, gain and output.
- Onboard reverb: Adds depth and ambience to your sound, whether you're after spacious cleans or soaring lead tones.
- LA·IR equipped XLR direct output: Send consistent, studio-quality tones straight to a PA system or audio interface. You can even load your own impulse responses!
- USB-C audio I/O: Don’t have an audio interface? No problem, go direct to your computer with wicked tone via the USB-C port on the back of the amp. It also enables app control and impulse response management.
- Series effects loop (send/return): Place your favourite modulation, delay and reverb pedals after the preamp for maximum clarity and control.
- Headphone output and Aux In: Handy for silent practice sessions, letting you jam along to backing tracks without disturbing anyone else.
