High Resolution Vinyl Archiving

The Handytraxx 1bit is built for serious digitisation. Its integrated USB audio interface records at up to 5.6 MHz, 1 bit DSD, capturing 5.6 million samples per second for exceptional clarity and nuance. With support for both 5.6 MHz and 2.8 MHz DSD plus PCM up to 192 kHz / 24 bit, you can create faithful, future proof backups of your collection that preserve the character of the original pressings.

AudioGate 4 Recording Workflow

Included AudioGate 4 software from Korg turns the Handytraxx 1bit into a complete high resolution recording system. Connect via USB to your Mac or PC and you can record, play back and convert in DSD and PCM formats, including FLAC and WAV. AudioGate 4 also lets you create lighter MP3 versions for everyday listening, so you can keep pristine masters archived while carrying portable copies on your phone or music player.

Portable Deck with Serious Hardware

Despite its compact footprint, the Handytraxx 1bit is engineered like a proper turntable. A belt drive system with CPU controlled rotation compensation keeps 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM speeds stable, while the aluminium die cast platter ensures smooth, accurate rotation. The universal tonearm with interchangeable headshell and adjustable counterweight (up to 4 g) allows precise tracking, and the factory fitted JICO J44A 7 MM cartridge delivers dynamic, powerful sound straight out of the box.

Nutube Phono Equaliser and Flexible Outputs

At the heart of the Handytraxx 1bit is a Nutube powered phono equaliser that brings valve like warmth, depth and overtones to your records. A dedicated TUBE control lets you dial in the amount of harmonic richness to taste, while separate bass and treble controls offer further tonal shaping. With both line and phono outputs available, you can connect directly to standard hi fi systems or use your own external phono stage, tailoring the playback chain to your preferences.

Take Vinyl Anywhere

Weighing just 2.8 kg and roughly the size of an A3 sheet of paper, the Handytraxx 1bit is easy to move between rooms, studios and venues. Built in stereo speakers mean you can listen without any extra gear, while the headphone output offers private monitoring. Powered by the included AC adaptor or six AA batteries, it delivers up to approximately 11 hours of playback with speakers on, making it a practical option for travel, pop up DJ sets and listening sessions away from mains power.
