K&M 12246 Dual Head Extra Bright & Long-lasting Octo-LED Light

The K&M 12246 Dual Head Octo-LED Light is a compact, extra-bright and long-lasting lighting solution designed for musicians who need clear, focused illumination on stage, in the pit or in the studio. With two flexible goosenecks, eight high-performance LEDs and dual brightness settings, it delivers reliable light exactly where you need it while keeping power consumption to a minimum.

Each head houses four modern LEDs rated for up to 100,000 hours, giving you a clean, bright beam with impressive longevity. Whether you are reading dense orchestral scores, charts in a dark theatre or set lists on a cramped stage, the 12246 helps reduce eye strain and keeps everything clearly visible. The extra-wide clip attaches securely to most music desks and table tops up to 25 mm thick, so you can set up quickly and get on with the performance.

Battery operation keeps things simple and portable, with three AAA batteries included so you are ready to go straight out of the box. A typical battery life of around 10 hours means you can comfortably cover rehearsals and gigs without constantly changing batteries. For fixed setups, the light can also be powered via an optional mains power unit.

Lightweight yet robust, the plastic construction and flexible goosenecks make it easy to position the beams precisely, whether you want a tight spot on a specific section of the page or an even wash across a wider area. With two brightness levels at your fingertips, you can adapt instantly to different environments without dazzling bandmates or the audience.

Flexible Dual Gooseneck Design

The two independently adjustable goosenecks allow you to direct light exactly where you need it, from a narrow, concentrated spot to a broader spread across multiple pages. This makes the 12246 ideal for everything from solo practice to complex scores, helping you maintain a clear view in any playing situation.

Extra Bright, Energy Efficient LEDs

With 2 x 4 high-quality LEDs delivering around 1,700 lux per head, you get a powerful, consistent light output while benefiting from minimal energy consumption. The long LED lifespan of approximately 100,000 hours per head means you can rely on this light for years without worrying about bulb changes.

Two-Level Brightness Control

A simple switch lets you choose between two brightness settings, so you can tailor the light to the venue and your own comfort. Use the lower setting for subtle illumination in darker pits or the higher setting when you need maximum clarity on busy scores, all without harsh glare.

Wide, Secure Clip Mounting

The practical, extra-wide clip offers a clamping range of up to 25 mm, allowing quick and secure attachment to most music stands and table tops. This stable mounting keeps the light firmly in place, even when adjusting the goosenecks, so you can focus fully on your performance.

• Dual Head Octo-LED Configuration - Two lamp heads, each with four LEDs, provide bright, even illumination across your music or workspace. This octo-LED setup gives you enough coverage for single or double-page layouts without dark spots.
• Flexible Gooseneck Positioning - The twin goosenecks allow precise, independent adjustment of each light head. You can angle one beam for pinpoint focus and the other for broader fill, ensuring optimal visibility in any playing position.
• Battery or Mains Power Options - Operate the light using the included 3 x AAA batteries for portable use, or connect an optional power unit for mains operation. This flexibility makes the 12246 equally suited to mobile gigs and permanent setups.
• Compact, Lightweight Design - Weighing just 0.068 kg and made from durable plastic, the light is easy to transport and quick to mount. Its low profile keeps your setup tidy and unobtrusive while still delivering powerful illumination.
