Kala Satin Mahogany Electro Acoustic Baritone Ukulele

The Kala Satin Mahogany Electro Acoustic Baritone Ukulele takes Kala’s flagship satin mahogany design and scales it up for players who want a deeper, richer ukulele voice with the convenience of built in electronics. With its warm mahogany construction, comfortable baritone scale and onboard UK 300TR preamp, it is a reliable, great sounding instrument whether you are practising at home, recording or stepping onto the stage.

Classic cream binding and a smooth satin finish give this baritone a timeless, understated look, while practical touches like a built in truss rod, durable composite nut and Graph Tech NuBone saddle help it stand the test of time. Strung with Aquila Super Nylgut strings, it offers a responsive, musical feel that invites confident strumming and expressive fingerstyle playing.

Flagship Satin Mahogany Construction

The Satin Mahogany line has become an industry standard for a reason. With a mahogany top, back and sides, this baritone delivers a warm, woody tone that feels instantly familiar and musical. The satin finish lets the wood resonate freely and gives a smooth, natural feel under the arm, while the cream binding adds a touch of classic style that looks great under stage lights or in the living room.

Deep, Comfortable Baritone Feel

With its longer 20.0625 inch scale length and larger body, this baritone offers a deeper, more guitar like register that is perfect for singers, guitarists crossing over to ukulele, or anyone wanting a fuller sound. The 18 fret neck and 1.5 inch nut width provide plenty of room for chords and melodic lines, making it comfortable for both strumming and more intricate playing.

Stage Ready 300TR Electronics

Equipped with a 300TR preamp system powered by a 9v battery, this baritone is ready to plug straight into an amp, PA or audio interface. The onboard electronics capture the natural character of the mahogany body, so you can take the same warm, resonant tone you hear acoustically and use it in live or recording situations with ease.

Reliable Playability and Hardware

A mahogany neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth, familiar playing surface, while the built in truss rod allows for neck adjustments to keep the action feeling just right over time. The ABS composite nut and Graph Tech NuBone saddle provide stable support for the strings and help with clear note definition and consistent intonation across the fretboard.

• All Mahogany Baritone Body - Mahogany top, back and sides deliver a warm, rounded tone with plenty of low end presence, ideal for players who want a fuller, more guitar like ukulele sound without losing that classic uke character.
• 300TR Electro Acoustic System - The onboard UK 300TR preamp (9v battery) lets you plug directly into amps and PAs, making it easy to take your baritone from the sofa to the stage while keeping your tone consistent and controllable.
• Comfortable Neck with Truss Rod - A mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and adjustable truss rod offers a comfortable playing feel and long term stability, so you can maintain a setup that suits your style.
• Quality Components and Finish - The satin finish, cream binding, ABS composite nut and Graph Tech NuBone saddle combine for a smart look and reliable performance, helping the instrument play in tune and feel great for years to come.
