Product Description
The Kala Makala Classic Electro Acoustic Concert Ukulele takes everything players love about the hugely popular Makala Classic line and adds the flexibility of built-in electronics. With its warm mahogany construction, easy-playing concert size and simple plug-in capability, it is an ideal first electro acoustic uke for beginners, students and casual performers who want great sound without stretching the budget.
Unlike many entry-level instruments, the Makala Classic range is designed so that sound and playability are never compromised. The satin-finished mahogany body delivers a rich, mellow voice with plenty of projection, while the concert scale offers a comfortable feel and clear note definition. Whether you are strumming at home, rehearsing with friends or plugging into an amp or PA, this ukulele is ready to go.
Fitted with Aquila Super Nylgut strings and a smooth rosewood fingerboard, the MKCE2105 feels responsive and musical straight out of the box. The onboard PS-900 electronics make it easy to amplify your tone for open mic nights, school concerts or worship settings, all while keeping the classic Makala look and straightforward layout that beginners appreciate.
Classic Makala Playability
The Makala Classic line is renowned for offering one of the most playable entry-level ukuleles around, and this electro acoustic concert model continues that tradition. The 14.8125 inch scale length and comfortable neck profile make chords easier to fret, helping new players progress faster and enjoy longer playing sessions with less fatigue.
Warm Mahogany Concert Body
With a mahogany top, back and sides, this concert ukulele produces a warm, rounded tone that flatters both strumming and fingerpicking. The slightly larger concert body compared to a soprano adds fullness and volume, giving you a more confident sound that still retains the classic ukulele sweetness.
Built-in PS-900 Electronics
The onboard PS-900 electronics let you plug straight into an amplifier, audio interface or PA system without needing an external microphone. This makes the MKCE2105 a practical choice for lessons, rehearsals and performances, giving you clear, consistent sound in any amplified setting.
Ready to Play with Quality Strings
Factory-fitted Aquila Super Nylgut strings provide a bright, balanced tone and stable tuning, so you can focus on playing rather than constant retuning. Combined with the smooth rosewood fingerboard, they help deliver a responsive feel that encourages good technique from day one.
Features
- Concert Size Body - The concert scale offers a comfortable middle ground between soprano and tenor, with extra room on the fretboard and a fuller sound that suits beginners and advancing players alike.
- All-Mahogany Construction - Mahogany top, back and sides provide a warm, woody tone with pleasing sustain, ideal for relaxed strumming, melodic lines and accompaniment in small ensembles.
- PS-900 Electro Acoustic System - Built-in electronics allow you to plug directly into amps and PA systems, making this ukulele equally at home in the living room, classroom or on stage.
- Aquila Super Nylgut Strings - Premium Aquila strings deliver a clear, traditional ukulele voice and reliable tuning stability, helping new players sound their best from the first strum.
