Who is JustinGuitar?

JustinGuitar is a recognisable and respected figure in the online guitar community. While his popular website has become an established learning resource for guitarists, Justin Sandercoe has gained most of his fans through video site YouTube.

Arguably the most popular guitar teacher on the platform, Justin draws upon his 20 years of experience as a professional guitarist to present regular videos on his two channels: ‘JustinGuitar’ and ‘JustinGuitar Songs’.

Justin’s main channel encompasses lessons about technique, theory and guitar maintenance, whereas ‘JustinGuitar Songs’ is focused solely on song tutorials. With over 1.5 million subscribers combined across his channels, Justin’s following has grown considerably over the last few years, much like with our own YouTube channel – 'Andertons TV'.

This rapid growth has allowed us to align ourselves closely with JustinGuitar’s ethos; to share knowledge and keep the spirit of learning the guitar alive. We can’t think of anyone more passionate about teaching than Justin, and we’re thrilled to be collaborating with him!

JustinGuitar & Andertons Music Co.

JustinGuitar has already made several appearances on Andertons TV, in our ‘Rut Busters’ video series. With episodes split between the JustinGuitar and Andertons TV channels, these videos involve both Sandercoe and our Managing Director, Lee Anderton (AKA ‘The Captain’).

With a strong emphasis on music theory, these episodes have proved valuable to not only Lee, but more importantly - our respective audiences. With a fun and relaxed approach, these videos highlight that learning the guitar is ultimately an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

JustinGuitar & EastCoast Guitars

JustinGuitar’s videos and books are excellent resources for learning, but ensuring that you start out on the right instrument is also very important. That’s why JustinGuitar is a keen advocate of EastCoast Guitars.

Despite being a fairly new brand that has only recently joined the massive Andertons Music Co. catalogue, EastCoast offer among some of the very best beginner guitars that we’ve ever come across. Don’t believe us? Maybe this quote from Justin will help:

Justin Guitar

"Having played a lot of budget instruments in recent months, I can confidently say that the EastCoast guitars are by far the best bang-for-buck I've tried. They all had a ‘low action’ (meaning the strings are easier to press down) which is perfect for beginners and means less finger pain and a lot more fun!"

Unlike many other beginner brands, EastCoast boasts a diverse instrument range that allows you to find the perfect guitar to suit your style. Loosely based off some of the guitar world's most iconic designs, you can keep it traditional with models like the GS100 and GT100, or find something more extreme like the GV320. Whatever genres of music you prefer, EastCoast has catered for just about everyone.

Not only versatile, these instruments also sport the features you’d expect to find on instruments over double their prices; displaying great craftsmanship too. Whichever EastCoast model you settle on, you'll have a super-solid first guitar that'll last for several years before you'd even think about upgrading!
