Ibanez SR1426B-CGL SR-Series 6-String Bass Guitar in Caribbean Green Low Gloss

The Ibanez SR1426B-CGL is a premium 6 string bass designed for players who demand boutique feel, modern versatility and rock-solid reliability. Dressed in a stunning Caribbean Green Low Gloss finish, it combines a flamed maple top and fingerboard with a lightweight African mahogany body, delivering a punchy, articulate tone that stays comfortable across long sessions on stage or in the studio.

At the heart of this SR Premium model is the ultra-stable Atlas-6 neck, reinforced with KTS titanium rods for exceptional tuning stability and sustain. Paired with Nordstrand Big Break pickups and Ibanez Custom Electronics, you get a huge tonal range from tight, aggressive growl to smooth, hi-fi clarity, all at the flick of a switch or twist of a knob. Whether you are handling complex modern prog lines, extended-range metal or expressive chordal work, this bass is built to keep up.

The SR1426B-CGL is also a highly ergonomic instrument. Its slim neck profile, generous cutaways and carefully contoured body make 6 string playing feel natural and inviting, even if you are moving up from a 4 or 5 string. With precise hardware, adjustable string spacing and a responsive active 3 band EQ, it is a serious tool for bassists who want a refined, road-ready workhorse with a distinctive visual edge.

Atlas-6 Neck with KTS Titanium Reinforcement

The 5 piece panga panga and purpleheart Atlas-6 neck is engineered for stability and comfort, with KTS titanium reinforcement rods helping it resist warping and movement through temperature and humidity changes. The result is a neck that stays in tune, sustains beautifully and feels fast and effortless under the fingers, ideal for technical lines and extended-range chord work.

Nordstrand Big Break Pickups and Ibanez Custom Electronics

Nordstrand Big Break pickups deliver the punch and authority of a split-coil design with the clarity and definition of a single-coil voice. Coupled with Ibanez Custom Electronics and an active 3 band EQ, you can sculpt everything from tight, mid-forward rock tones to deep, scooped modern sounds, with an EQ bypass option when you want a more direct, passive-style response.

Flamed Maple Top and Fingerboard

The flamed maple top adds snap and definition to the warmth of the African mahogany body, helping your notes cut through dense mixes without sounding harsh. A matching flamed maple fingerboard enhances articulation and attack, while the blue oval inlays and Caribbean Green Low Gloss finish give the bass a distinctive, high-end aesthetic on any stage.

MR5S Bridge with Adjustable String Spacing

The MR5S bridge provides precise intonation and solid tuning stability, with individual saddles that allow you to fine-tune string spacing to suit your playing style. Whether you prefer a slightly tighter feel for fast picking or a wider spread for complex fingerstyle and slap techniques, the bridge lets you dial in a setup that feels perfectly tailored to you.
