Product Description
The Ibanez RG5120ML-FCN is a left-handed Prestige RG built for players who live at the cutting edge of modern metal and progressive rock. With its razor-thin Super Wizard HP neck, Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic pickups and rock-solid Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, this Frozen Ocean finished shred machine delivers effortless playability, brutal clarity and bulletproof tuning stability in one seriously sleek package.
Crafted in Japan as part of the Prestige series, the RG5120ML pairs an ash-topped African mahogany body with a birdseye maple fretboard for a punchy, articulate voice that still has plenty of warmth and low-end depth. Add jumbo stainless-steel frets, premium Gotoh hardware and a locking nut, and you have a left-handed instrument that is engineered to handle aggressive techniques, low tunings and demanding stage or studio work with ease.
Whether you are a technical lead player, a rhythm powerhouse or a genre-hopping session guitarist, the RG5120ML-FCN gives you the speed, precision and tonal flexibility you need to perform at your best every night.
Super Wizard HP Neck for Maximum Speed
The 5-piece maple/wenge Super Wizard HP neck is ultra-thin and incredibly stable, letting you fly around the fretboard with minimal effort. Its sleek profile is ideal for fast alternate picking, sweeping and legato, while the multi-piece construction adds strength and reliability under high string tension or changing climates.
Birdseye Maple Fretboard with Stainless-Steel Frets
The birdseye maple fretboard not only looks striking, it also offers a bright, balanced response that keeps complex chords and fast runs clear and defined. Jumbo stainless-steel frets feel smooth under the fingers, resist wear far better than traditional fretwire and make big bends and vibrato feel consistent across the entire neck.
Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Power
Loaded with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic humbuckers, the RG5120ML-FCN delivers high-output, noise-free performance that excels under heavy gain. These active pickups provide tight, percussive lows, cutting mids and crisp highs, with switchable voices that let you move from saturated modern aggression to a more open, dynamic character at the flick of a switch.
Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo and Gotoh Hardware
The Lo-Pro Edge tremolo is Ibanez’s flagship double-locking bridge, designed for ultra-smooth feel and rock-solid tuning. Combined with a locking nut and Gotoh machine heads, it allows you to perform extreme divebombs, flutters and pitch tricks while keeping your tuning locked in, set after set.
Features
- Super Wizard HP 5-Piece Maple/Wenge Neck - An ultra-thin, high-performance neck that makes complex runs, wide stretches and advanced techniques feel natural and controlled, helping you play faster for longer with less fatigue.
- Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Pickups - High-output active humbuckers that stay tight and articulate under extreme gain, with switchable voices so you can tailor your sound from brutal modern metal to more open, expressive tones.
- Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo with Locking Nut - Ibanez’s premium double-locking tremolo system offers a low-profile feel, smooth action and exceptional tuning stability, giving you the confidence to use the bar as aggressively or subtly as you like.
- Ash Top on African Mahogany Body - The ash top adds snap and clarity to the naturally rich, warm character of the African mahogany body, resulting in a powerful, full-range tone that cuts through the mix without losing depth.
