Ibanez obtained Paul Stanley’s original Cracked Mirror guitar to ensure this model is as authentic as possible. The top is recreated with individual acrylic pieces, each one hand-fitted by Japanese craftsmen to mirror the look of the original stage guitar. Under the lights this finish comes alive, reflecting beams in every direction and making the PS1CM a true centrepiece on any stage.

A Maple top sits on an African Mahogany body, a tried-and-tested combination that delivers a rich, muscular midrange with plenty of low-end depth. The Maple adds snap and definition to your pick attack, helping riffs cut through a dense mix while still retaining warmth and body for chords and lead lines.

Fast Neck and Luxurious Fretwork

The 3-piece Maple neck offers strength and stability, enhancing resonance and sustain across the 628 mm scale. An Ebony fretboard with acrylic and abalone block inlays provides a smooth, responsive playing surface with tight lows and a crisp high end. Medium frets receive a Custom Shop fret edge treatment, giving an exceptionally smooth feel under the fingers for effortless bends, slides and vibrato.

A Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck and Custom 5 in the bridge deliver a versatile palette of classic humbucker tones, from warm, rounded cleans to punchy, harmonically rich overdrive. Gotoh machine heads, GE103B-T bridge and GE101Z-T tailpiece work together with the half-bone/half-brass nut to maximise tuning stability, sustain and tonal clarity, ensuring the PS1CM is ready for the demands of live performance.
