Product Description
The Ibanez PF15ECE-BK is a sleek, stage-ready electro acoustic that combines classic dreadnought power with modern plugged-in convenience. With its spruce top, okoume back and sides and a comfortable cutaway body, it delivers bright, articulate tone with plenty of warmth and projection, while the onboard Ibanez electronics make it easy to take that sound straight to an amp or PA.
Finished in a smart high-gloss black with chrome hardware, this PF Series model is ideal for beginners and developing players who want a reliable all-rounder for practice, songwriting, open mics and live performance. The comfortable nyatoh neck and laurel fretboard feel familiar and forgiving, while the built-in tuner and simple 2-band EQ keep you in control wherever you play.
Comfortable Dreadnought Cutaway Design
The classic dreadnought body gives you a full, bold acoustic voice with strong low end and clear highs, ideal for strumming chords or flatpicking melodies. A handy cutaway opens up the upper frets, so you can reach higher notes with ease for solos, melodic lines and more adventurous chord voicings.
Balanced, Musical Tonewoods
A spruce top provides the brightness, clarity and dynamic response that make your playing feel lively and expressive, whether you are playing softly or digging in. Okoume back and sides add warmth, woody resonance and punchy mids, helping your chords sit nicely in a mix. The nyatoh neck and laurel fretboard and bridge contribute a smooth feel and warm, rounded character that is easy on the ears and the fingers.
Stage Ready Electronics
The Ibanez undersaddle pickup captures the natural acoustic sound of the guitar with clarity and balance, ready for amplification. Paired with the Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp, you get a straightforward 2-band EQ to shape your tone on the fly, plus an onboard tuner so you can quickly check your tuning without needing extra gear.
Practical Details for Everyday Playing
Chrome hardware and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins are designed to be reliable and user-friendly. The bridge pins are shaped for easier gripping and more secure string seating, making restringing less of a chore. Combined with the stable laurel bridge and durable gloss polyurethane finish, the PF15ECE-BK is built to handle regular practice, rehearsals and gigs.
