Product Description
The Ibanez PF15-BK is a classic dreadnought acoustic that combines a bold, full-bodied sound with a sleek, stage-ready black finish. With a spruce top for clarity and projection, okoume back and sides for warmth, and a comfortable nyatoh neck, it is a great all-rounder for beginners and developing players who want a reliable, great-sounding instrument that is easy to live with and inspiring to play.
Whether you are strumming chords, learning your first songs or accompanying your voice, the PF15-BK delivers a balanced tone that sits nicely in any mix. The laurel fretboard and bridge help the guitar resonate naturally, while Ibanez Advantage bridge pins make string changes straightforward and secure, so you can spend more time playing and less time wrestling with hardware.
The full-size dreadnought body gives you plenty of volume and presence, making it ideal for unplugged practice, small jams and mic’d-up performances. Finished in gloss black with chrome hardware and simple white dot inlays, it looks as smart as it sounds, offering a clean, modern aesthetic that suits any style of music.
With its comfortable playability, dependable construction and versatile tone, the Ibanez PF15-BK is a solid choice for anyone looking for their first serious acoustic or a no-fuss workhorse that will handle everyday playing with ease.
Comfortable Nyatoh Neck
The nyatoh neck provides a rich, warm mid-low tonal foundation while offering a smooth, comfortable feel in the hand. This makes extended practice sessions more enjoyable and helps newer players develop their technique without fighting against the instrument.
Spruce Top Clarity
The spruce top delivers excellent clarity, projection and tonal balance, so your chords ring out clearly and single notes cut through with definition. This makes the PF15-BK well suited to both strumming and fingerstyle, and helps your playing sound confident and articulate.
Warm Okoume Back and Sides
Okoume back and sides add warmth and a pleasing midrange presence to the sound, rounding out the brightness of the spruce top. The result is a full, musical tone that works well for singer-songwriters, acoustic covers and general all-purpose playing.
Laurel Fretboard and Bridge
The laurel fretboard offers a warm, rounded response under the fingers, while the matching laurel bridge enhances the guitar’s natural resonance. Together, they help notes sustain smoothly and give chords a cohesive, musical character.
Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins
Ibanez Advantage bridge pins are designed for secure, hassle-free restringing. Their user-friendly shape makes them easier to grip and remove, helping you change strings quickly and confidently, even if you are new to acoustic guitar maintenance.
Features
- Spruce Top for Clear, Balanced Tone - The spruce soundboard provides bright, articulate highs and a controlled low end, giving you a versatile, balanced sound that suits a wide range of playing styles and musical genres.
