Classic A-Style Mandolin Design
The traditional A-style body shape gives the M510E-BS a focused, punchy voice that cuts through a mix with ease. Its compact size is comfortable whether you are seated or standing, and the familiar silhouette will feel instantly at home in any acoustic ensemble.
Balanced Tonewood Combination
A spruce top provides bright, clear projection and definition, while sapele back and sides add warmth and a pleasing midrange balance. This combination helps every note speak clearly, from delicate melodies to fast-picked chord work, making it a versatile partner for a wide range of playing styles.
Comfortable Neck and Fretboard
The okoume neck is designed for playing comfort and stability, offering a smooth, responsive feel that encourages longer practice and performance sessions. Paired with a purpleheart fretboard and bridge, you get a touch-sensitive response, enhanced resonance and a visually rich, dark timber look.
Stage-Ready Electro Acoustic Capability
A built-in magnetic single-coil pickup with passive volume and tone controls lets you shape your sound quickly and easily when amplified. Plug straight into an acoustic amp, pedalboard or PA and enjoy a clear, controllable mandolin tone without the need for external microphones.
Features
- Spruce Top with Sapele Back and Sides - The spruce top delivers bright, articulate projection, while the sapele back and sides provide warmth and midrange balance. This pairing ensures your mandolin lines remain clear and present, whether you are playing rhythm chops or intricate lead parts.
- Magnetic Single-Coil Pickup with Passive Controls - The onboard single-coil pickup captures your natural acoustic tone and sends it straight to your amp or PA. Simple passive volume and tone controls make it easy to adjust your sound on the fly, helping you sit perfectly in any mix.
- Comfortable Okoume Neck and Purpleheart Fretboard - The okoume neck offers a stable, lightweight feel that reduces fatigue, while the purpleheart fretboard adds a smooth playing surface and characterful tonal response. Together they make fast runs, chords and bends feel effortless.
- Purpleheart Bridge for Enhanced Resonance - The purpleheart bridge helps transfer string vibration efficiently into the body, improving resonance and natural sustain. This gives your notes extra body and presence, making the instrument feel more responsive under the pick.
