Product Description
The Ibanez PA16XSG Grip Wizard Sand Pick is designed to keep your playing precise and controlled, even when things get sweaty on stage or in the studio. This 1.2 mm yellow pick combines a solid, articulate feel with a textured sand grip surface, helping you lock in your attack and focus on your performance. Supplied as a handy 6 pack, it is ideal for players who want consistent feel and tone across all their picks.
Part of Ibanez’s acclaimed Grip Wizard series, the PA16XSG uses a specially treated surface to give your fingers extra traction without feeling sticky or uncomfortable. The result is a pick that stays put between your fingers, supports confident strumming and picking, and helps reduce the chance of drops or slips mid-song.
The 1.2 mm thickness offers a firm, stable platform for punchy rhythm work and articulate lead lines. Whether you are digging into heavy riffs, tight funk patterns or fast alternate picking, this pick delivers a clear, defined response and a consistent attack. The bright yellow colour also makes it easy to spot on a dark stage or in your gig bag.
With six identical picks in each pack, you can keep spares in your case, pocket or pedalboard so you are always ready to play with the same feel and performance. If you value grip, control and reliability from your plectrums, the Ibanez PA16XSG Grip Wizard Sand Pick is a simple upgrade that can make a big difference to your playing comfort and confidence.
Grip Wizard Sand Surface
The PA16XSG features a textured sand surface on the pick face, giving your fingers extra purchase without adding bulk. This enhanced grip helps keep the pick secure in your hand, even during long sets or intense playing, so you can concentrate on your technique rather than worrying about drops.
1.2 mm Thickness for Control
At 1.2 mm, this pick provides a firm, rigid feel that translates into precise picking and a strong, consistent attack. The added stiffness is ideal for players who want tight rhythm work and articulate leads, with less flex getting in the way of fast or aggressive playing styles.
High-Visibility Yellow Finish
The bright yellow colour makes each pick easy to see, whether it is on a dark stage floor, tucked into your amp, or sitting on a pedalboard. This simple visual advantage saves time between songs and rehearsals, helping you quickly grab a replacement if you drop one.
Practical 6 Pack
Supplied as a 6 pack, the PA16XSG ensures you have multiple identical picks ready to go. Keeping spares in different cases and bags means you can always rely on the same feel and response, maintaining consistency in your playing wherever you are.
