Ibanez PA16MSG Grip Wizard Series Sand Pick 0.8mm in Yellow 6 Pack

The Ibanez PA16MSG Grip Wizard Sand Pick 0.8mm in Yellow is a precision short teardrop plectrum designed for players who demand secure grip and articulate attack. With a sand-textured surface and a responsive 0.8mm polyacetal construction, this six pack keeps your picking consistent, controlled and comfortable across rehearsals, gigs and studio sessions.

Part of Ibanez’s acclaimed Grip Wizard series, the PA16MSG combines a compact shape with a carefully engineered sand grip that helps your fingers stay locked in, even under hot stage lights or during fast, intricate passages. The bright yellow finish also makes these picks easy to spot on a dark stage or in the bottom of a gig bag, so you spend less time hunting for a spare and more time playing.

The 0.8mm thickness hits a sweet spot between flexibility and stiffness, giving you enough give for expressive strumming while still providing the precision and snap needed for articulate single note lines. The polyacetal material delivers a smooth, consistent glide across the strings with a clear, defined tone that works well for a wide range of styles.

Whether you are a technical player looking for extra control, a live performer who needs a reliable non slip pick, or simply want a comfortable everyday plectrum that feels secure in the hand, the Ibanez PA16MSG Grip Wizard Sand Pick offers a practical, player focused solution in a handy six pack.

Grip Wizard Sand Surface

The defining feature of this pick is its sand textured surface, which provides a tactile, non slip feel under the fingers. This enhanced grip helps reduce accidental drops and slippage, giving you more confidence during fast runs, aggressive strumming or sweaty live sets.

Short Teardrop Shape

The compact short teardrop profile offers a focused picking point for precise attack and control. This shape is ideal for players who like a smaller pick that sits snugly between the fingers, making intricate picking patterns and tight rhythm work feel more accurate and responsive.

Balanced 0.8mm Thickness

At 0.8mm, the PA16MSG strikes a balance between flexibility and rigidity. It has enough flex for dynamic strumming while remaining firm enough for articulate lead playing, helping you maintain consistent tone and feel across different techniques.

Durable Polyacetal Construction

Made from polyacetal, this pick offers a smooth attack and consistent wear characteristics. The material glides easily over the strings and delivers a clear, defined sound, while standing up well to regular practice and performance.

• Sand Grip Surface - The sand textured surface improves friction between your fingers and the pick, helping to keep it firmly in place. This added security is especially useful on stage or during long practice sessions where sweat can make standard picks harder to hold.
• Short Teardrop Design - The short teardrop shape offers a compact feel with a sharp, accurate tip. This design supports tight, controlled picking, making it a great choice for players who value precision and a close connection to the strings.
• 0.8mm Medium Gauge - Sitting in the medium range, the 0.8mm thickness provides a versatile response suitable for both rhythm and lead work. It allows for expressive dynamics without feeling flimsy or overly stiff, giving you a comfortable all round playing experience.
• Bright Yellow Six Pack - Supplied in a pack of six with a vivid yellow colour, these picks are easy to see and simple to replace. Having multiple identical picks on hand means you can swap quickly mid set or mid take without disrupting your flow.
