Product Description
The Ibanez GA6CE Classical Guitar in Amber is a comfortable, stage-ready nylon-string that blends traditional classical tone with modern playability and reliable electronics. With its cutaway body, built-in Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp and undersaddle pickup, it is ideal for players who want authentic classical warmth whether practising at home, recording or performing live.
A spruce top paired with sapele back and sides delivers a clear, articulate sound with a warm, full mid-range, while the slim okoume neck and smooth Purpleheart fretboard make chords and melodies feel effortless. Finished in a classy Amber with a classical mosaic rosette and gold tuners, the GA6CE looks as good as it sounds.
Comfortable Cutaway Classical Design
The GA6CE features a cutaway classical body that gives you easier access to the upper frets, making it a great choice for expressive solos and more advanced pieces. The body shape still retains the familiar feel and resonance of a traditional classical guitar, so you get the best of both worlds: comfort and playability without sacrificing tone.
Balanced Spruce and Sapele Tonewoods
A spruce top provides the bright, pristine clarity that has made it the go-to choice for acoustic guitar soundboards, ensuring your notes ring out clearly in any setting. Sapele back and sides add warmth and body, with a rich mid-range presence that supports both fingerstyle and strummed playing, giving the GA6CE a versatile and musical voice.
Smooth Okoume Neck and Purpleheart Appointments
The okoume neck is designed for playing comfort, offering a smooth, responsive feel that makes long practice sessions and performances more enjoyable. A Purpleheart fretboard and bridge not only add a distinctive visual touch, they also help emphasise the guitar’s rich tonal character and efficiently transfer string vibration to the body for a natural, warm response.
Stage Ready with Ibanez Electronics
Equipped with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup and AEQ-2T preamp, the GA6CE is ready to plug straight into an amp or PA. The preamp offers bass and treble controls so you can quickly shape your sound to suit different rooms or mixes, while the onboard tuner lets you tune silently and accurately without needing to be plugged in, keeping you performance ready at all times.
