Product Description
The Ibanez GA35TCE-DVS is a modern, stage-ready classical electro acoustic that blends nylon-string warmth with sleek, easy-playing ergonomics. With its slim thinline body, comfortable narrower neck and built-in Ibanez electronics, it is ideal for steel-string players moving into the classical world, singer-songwriters needing a feedback-resistant live instrument, or anyone wanting that smooth, expressive nylon tone in a compact, gig-friendly package.
A spruce top paired with sapele back and sides delivers a clear, articulate voice with a warm, full midrange that sits beautifully in a mix, whether you are fingerpicking, strumming or accompanying vocals. Plugged in, the undersaddle pickup and AEQ210T preamp capture that natural character with clarity and control, while the onboard tuner keeps you in check on stage or in rehearsal. Finished in a Dark Violin Sunburst gloss, the GA35TCE-DVS looks as refined as it feels.
Comfortable, Player-Friendly Neck
The GA35TCE-DVS features a nyatoh neck that offers a smooth, inviting feel and a warm, rounded tonal character. With a 46 mm nut width that is narrower than a traditional classical guitar, it feels more familiar to electric and steel-string acoustic players, making chord shapes and stretches less demanding. The 14th fret neck joint also improves upper-fret access, so melodic lines and solos higher up the neck feel natural and unhindered.
Expressive Nylon-String Tone
A spruce top gives this guitar its clear, responsive attack and strong projection, ensuring every note speaks with definition. Sapele back and sides add warmth and fullness through the mids, with crisp highs that keep your sound lively and present. The rosewood fretboard and bridge further enhance the tonal richness, helping the instrument resonate freely and deliver a balanced, musical voice suited to classical, Latin, jazz and contemporary styles.
Stage-Ready Thinline Design
The Thinline Classical Cutaway body keeps the GA35TCE-DVS compact and comfortable, especially when playing seated for long sessions or standing with a strap. The slimmer depth helps reduce the risk of feedback at higher volumes, making it a practical choice for live performance. The cutaway design gives you easy access to the upper frets, so you can explore the full range of the 648 mm scale length without compromise.
Reliable Ibanez Electronics
Equipped with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup and AEQ210T preamp, the GA35TCE-DVS is ready to plug straight into an amp or PA. The pickup accurately translates the guitar’s natural acoustic tone, while the 2-band EQ lets you shape your sound to suit any room or mix. An integrated tuner means you can check your tuning quickly and quietly, powered by a single 9V battery for simple, dependable operation.
Features
- Thinline Classical Cutaway Body - The slim, cutaway body offers exceptional playing comfort and easier access to higher frets, while helping to control feedback when amplified, making it ideal for live use and long practice sessions.
- Narrower 46 mm Nut and 14th Fret Neck Joint - A 46 mm nut width and 14th fret neck joint create a more familiar feel for steel-string and electric players, reducing the stretch for chords and improving upper-register playability.
- Spruce Top with Sapele Back and Sides - The spruce top delivers clarity and projection, while sapele back and sides add warmth and presence, giving you a balanced nylon-string tone that works for both solo playing and ensemble settings.
- Ibanez Undersaddle Pickup and AEQ210T Preamp - The built-in pickup and preamp system provide a clear, natural amplified sound with 2-band EQ and an onboard tuner, so you can dial in your tone and stay in tune without external gear.
