Product Description
The Ibanez GA3008CE-NT is a modern, stage-ready take on the classical guitar, expanding your tonal and creative palette with a full 8-string layout and quality onboard electronics. Combining a solid German spruce top with African mahogany back and sides, it delivers a warm, articulate nylon-string voice that translates beautifully when amplified, making it ideal for adventurous classical players, fingerstyle guitarists and composers exploring extended-range ideas.
Designed for comfort and clarity, the GA3008CE-NT features an okoume neck and rosewood fretboard for an inviting, familiar feel under the fingers, while the Fishman S-Core pickup and Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp ensure your sound remains natural and controlled in any live or recording situation. With an extended fretboard for extra range and refined gold classical tuners, this is a highly capable instrument for players who want to push beyond the limits of a traditional 6-string classical guitar.
Extended-Range Classical Creativity
The 8-string configuration opens up a world of new musical possibilities, from lush, piano-like chord voicings to deep, supportive bass lines and intricate counterpoint. Whether you are arranging solo pieces, exploring modern classical repertoire or bringing nylon-string textures into contemporary genres, the extra strings give you more notes under your fingers without changing your core technique.
Solid German Spruce Top for Clarity and Response
At the heart of the GA3008CE-NT is a solid German spruce top, chosen for its sensitivity and pristine clarity. It responds quickly to your touch, from delicate fingerstyle passages to more percussive techniques, projecting a clear, balanced tone that retains definition even when you are making full use of the extended range.
African Mahogany Body Warmth
African mahogany back and sides complement the spruce top with a full-bodied, warm midrange that suits classical, Latin, jazz and world styles. This combination gives you a rich, musical voice that sits well in a mix yet remains expressive and dynamic for solo performance.
Stage-Ready Electronics
The Fishman S-Core pickup captures the full acoustic character of the guitar, while the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp provides intuitive control over your amplified tone. With easy access to EQ shaping and an onboard tuner, you can quickly dial in a clear, natural sound on stage or in the studio and stay perfectly in tune throughout your set.
