Product Description
The Ibanez GA3-OAM is a full-size classical guitar designed to make your first steps into nylon-string playing feel natural, comfortable and inspiring. With its traditional GA Series body, spruce top and Meranti back and sides, it delivers a warm, balanced tone that is ideal for classical pieces, folk, pop arrangements or simply learning your first chords. Finished in an attractive Open Pore Amber, it feels light and responsive in the hands, encouraging longer, more enjoyable practice sessions.
Built with beginners and developing players in mind, the GA3-OAM combines easy playability with dependable construction. The 650 mm scale length and 19-fret layout follow classical tradition, while the Nandu Wood fretboard and bridge provide a smooth, reassuring feel under the fingers. Chrome classical tuners keep nylon strings stable and in tune, so you can focus on your playing rather than constant adjustments. Whether you are starting classical lessons, moving from steel strings to nylon, or looking for an affordable practice instrument, the GA3-OAM offers a confident, musical platform to grow with.
Comfortable Full-Size Classical Body
The GA3-OAM features a traditional full-size classical body that naturally projects sound and sits comfortably whether you are playing seated or standing. This familiar shape helps new learners develop correct posture and technique, while the generous body size supports a warm, resonant acoustic voice that fills the room without effort.
Spruce Top with Meranti Back and Sides
A spruce top gives the GA3-OAM clear articulation and a bright, responsive attack, helping every note of your chords and melodies ring out distinctly. Paired with Meranti back and sides, the overall tone remains warm and balanced, making it easier to hear your progress and refine your touch as you develop your playing.
Nandu Wood Fretboard and Bridge
The Nandu Wood fretboard and bridge contribute to both feel and sound. Under your fingers, the fretboard feels smooth and consistent across all 19 frets, encouraging clean chord shapes and accurate fingering. Tonally, Nandu Wood supports good resonance and sustain, so your notes sing out clearly and naturally.
Open Pore Amber Finish and Reliable Hardware
The Open Pore Amber finish allows the wood to breathe more freely, enhancing the guitar’s natural liveliness and giving the surface a subtle, organic grip that feels secure as you play. Chrome classical tuners are optimised for nylon strings, providing stable tuning and smooth adjustment, which is especially helpful for beginners still getting used to tuning their instrument.
