Product Description
The Ibanez AZ2402-PKF is a high-performance Prestige model crafted in Japan for players who demand precision, comfort and rock-solid reliability. With its roasted maple neck, Seymour Duncan pickups and premium GOTOH hardware, this sleek Pink Flat AZ is built to cover everything from glassy cleans to modern high-gain tones with effortless playability.
Part of the acclaimed AZ series, the AZ2402 takes a familiar S-style silhouette and refines every detail for the contemporary guitarist. The neck feels fast yet substantial, the body contours sit perfectly against you whether standing or seated, and the electronics are voiced for maximum versatility on stage and in the studio.
At the heart of the AZ2402 is its carefully treated roasted maple neck and fingerboard, delivering exceptional stability, a smooth feel and a bright, articulate response. Paired with a duo of Seymour Duncan humbuckers and flexible switching, you get a huge tonal palette that can handle progressive rock, fusion, pop, metal and everything in between.
Finished in a striking Pink Flat, this guitar does not just play like a top-tier instrument, it looks the part too. From the precise fretwork to the premium GOTOH locking tuners, every element of the AZ2402-PKF is designed to inspire confidence and let you focus purely on your playing.
Prestige Japanese Craftsmanship
As part of the Prestige line, the AZ2402-PKF benefits from Ibanez’s top-level Japanese build quality. Attention to detail is evident in the immaculate fretwork, perfectly cut nut and flawless finish. This level of craftsmanship translates directly into smoother bends, more accurate intonation and a guitar that feels consistent night after night.
Roasted Maple Neck for Stability and Feel
The roasted maple neck and fingerboard are heat-treated to remove excess moisture, increasing stability and resistance to changes in temperature and humidity. This process also enhances the wood’s resonance and gives the surface a silky, broken-in feel, so the guitar plays comfortably straight out of the box and stays that way.
Seymour Duncan Pickups with Versatile Voice
Equipped with Seymour Duncan humbuckers, the AZ2402-PKF offers a powerful yet articulate tone that works across genres. From tight, punchy rhythm sounds to singing lead lines and expressive cleans, these pickups respond dynamically to your picking and volume control, making it easy to dial in the right sound for any musical situation.
GOTOH Locking Tuners for Rock-Solid Tuning
GOTOH locking machine heads provide quick, secure string changes and excellent tuning stability. The locking mechanism clamps the string in place, reducing slippage and helping the guitar stay in tune through aggressive playing, wide bends and frequent use of the tremolo system.
