Product Description
The Ibanez AUP10N-OPN is a modern, performance-ready ukulele designed for players who want comfort, clarity and a surprisingly big voice from a compact instrument. With its chambered one-piece body, Stereo Sound Port System and premium tonewoods, this Advanced Ukulele delivers an immersive, articulate sound that feels as good to play as it does to hear.
A spruce top provides bright, clear projection, while the solid paulownia back and sides add warmth and definition without adding weight. The Open Pore Natural finish keeps the instrument resonant and organic under the fingers, and a host of ergonomic touches such as the Elevated Comfort Armrest, bevelled cutaway and Edgeless Comfort Heel make long practice sessions and intricate chord work feel effortless.
Thoughtful hardware choices complete the package. The purpleheart double-hole bridge makes string changes quick and secure, while the matching purpleheart fretboard adds both visual flair and a touch of tonal richness. With a comfortable okoume neck, 19 frets and a slightly extended 432 mm scale, the AUP10N-OPN offers familiar playability with extra room for expressive melodies and chord voicings.
Immersive Stereo Sound Port System
The Stereo Sound Port System projects sound not only forwards to your audience but also up towards you, creating a more immersive, surround-style playing experience. You hear more of the detail in your tone, which makes it easier to control dynamics, refine your touch and enjoy a fuller, more inspiring sound while you play.
Chambered One-piece Body with Premium Tonewoods
The chambered one-piece body construction maximises resonance and sustain while keeping the instrument lightweight and comfortable. A spruce top delivers a bright, articulate voice that cuts through a mix, and the solid paulownia back and sides add warmth and clarity, giving you a balanced tone that works equally well for strumming and fingerstyle.
Comfort-focused Design for Effortless Playability
The Elevated Comfort Armrest, bevelled cutaway and Edgeless Comfort Heel are all designed to reduce playing fatigue and give you smooth access to the upper frets. Whether you are practising for hours or performing intricate solos high up the neck, these ergonomic features help your hands and arms stay relaxed and in control.
Purpleheart Hardware and Natural Open Pore Finish
The purpleheart double-hole bridge offers excellent tuning stability and makes string changes straightforward, while the purpleheart fretboard adds a touch of elegance and tonal depth. Finished in Open Pore Natural polyurethane, the wood can vibrate more freely for improved resonance, and the tactile feel connects you directly to the instrument.

- Comfort Armrest, Bevelled Cutaway and Edgeless Heel - These ergonomic touches reduce pressure on your picking arm and make upper-fret access smooth and natural, allowing you to play more expressively with less strain.
