Product Description
The Ibanez AS93FML Artcore Expressionist is a left-handed semi-hollow that blends classic jazz-box elegance with modern playability and rock-ready versatility. With a flamed maple body, a solid centre block and a pair of acclaimed Super 58 humbuckers, it delivers everything from smooth, smoky cleans to articulate, singing overdrive in a beautifully finished Violin Sunburst package.
Part of the AS series, this guitar is built to inspire expressive players who want the airy resonance of a semi-hollow without sacrificing sustain or clarity. A comfortable 3-piece nyatoh/maple neck with a bound ebony fretboard feels fast and refined under the fingers, while gold hardware and acrylic block inlays complete the premium look.
Whether you are comping jazz chords, laying down soulful blues lines or pushing into fusion and classic rock, the AS93FML gives you a sophisticated, stage-ready platform that responds to every nuance of your playing.
Artcore Expressionist Semi-Hollow Design
The AS93FML features a semi-hollow construction with a solid centre block, giving you the warmth and air of a hollowbody with the feedback resistance and sustain of a solidbody. This makes it ideal for higher gain styles as well as traditional jazz and blues, keeping your tone focused and controlled even at gigging volumes.
Flamed Maple Body with Violin Sunburst Finish
A flamed maple top, back and sides provide a bright, articulate acoustic character with plenty of snap and definition. The eye-catching figuring shines through the Violin Sunburst gloss polyurethane finish, giving the guitar a classic, upmarket look that stands out under stage lights and in the studio.
Comfortable 3-Piece Neck and Ebony Fretboard
The 3-piece nyatoh/maple neck offers stability and a smooth, comfortable feel, while the bound ebony fretboard adds a touch of luxury and a snappy response. Acrylic block inlays provide clear visual reference up the neck, helping you navigate the 22 frets with confidence during complex chord work and melodic runs.
Super 58 Humbuckers and Gibraltar Performer Bridge
A matched pair of Super 58 humbuckers delivers a versatile, musical voice with a sweet top end and rich midrange, perfect for everything from warm jazz tones to crisp, dynamic overdrive. The Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III style tailpiece work together to enhance sustain and tuning stability, while making string changes straightforward.
Features
- Left-Handed Semi-Hollow with Centre Block - Designed specifically for left-handed players, the semi-hollow construction with a solid centre block offers a resonant, open sound while helping to control feedback, making it suitable for both clean and driven tones.
- Flamed Maple Body in Violin Sunburst - The flamed maple top, back and sides not only look stunning but also provide a bright, articulate tonal foundation, with the Violin Sunburst finish and gold hardware adding a timeless, high-end aesthetic.
- 3-Piece Nyatoh/Maple Neck with Ebony Fretboard - The stable 3-piece neck construction and smooth ebony fretboard deliver a comfortable playing experience, while the bound edges and acrylic block inlays give a refined feel that suits expressive, detailed playing.
- Super 58 Humbuckers and Gibraltar Performer Bridge - Super 58 humbuckers provide versatile, musical tones that handle jazz, blues and rock with ease, and the Gibraltar Performer bridge helps maximise sustain and tuning reliability so your sound stays consistent.
