Product Description
The Ibanez AS73G Artcore is a sleek, modern take on the classic semi hollow, pairing a centre-block design with classy gold hardware and a stealthy Black Flat finish. Comfortable, versatile and easy to play, it is ideal for players who want warm, airy semi acoustic tones with the sustain and control of a solidbody, at a price that is accessible to working musicians and ambitious beginners alike.
A linden body with a solid centre block keeps feedback in check while still delivering the open, resonant character that semi hollows are known for. The nyatoh set neck and bound rosewood fretboard feel smooth and familiar under the fingers, with acrylic block inlays adding a touch of vintage flair. Classic Elite humbuckers complete the package, giving you punchy, articulate tones that can handle everything from jazz and blues to rock and indie.
The AS73G is built to be a reliable, gig ready workhorse. The Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece provide stable tuning and straightforward string changes, while the satin polyurethane finish feels fast and comfortable, letting your hands glide effortlessly up and down the neck. At around 3.5 kg, it strikes a nice balance between solid feel and manageable weight for long rehearsals or sets.
Whether you are stepping up from your first guitar or adding a versatile semi hollow to your collection, the Ibanez AS73G-BKF offers style, playability and tone in a refined, stage ready package.
Semi Hollow with Centre Block
The AS73G features a semi hollow construction with a solid centre block running through the body. This design helps control feedback at higher volumes while still giving you the airy resonance and natural sustain that make semi hollows so inspiring to play. It is a great choice if you want classic hollow tones that can comfortably handle louder rehearsals and live situations.
Comfortable Nyatoh Neck and Rosewood Fretboard
A set in nyatoh neck paired with a bound rosewood fretboard offers a smooth, comfortable feel that suits chords, riffs and lead lines alike. The 628 mm scale length and 22 frets will feel familiar to many players, while acrylic block inlays make navigation easy on darker stages and add a stylish, traditional look.
Classic Elite Humbucker Pickups
Loaded with Classic Elite ceramic humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, the AS73G delivers a clear, full bodied voice with plenty of punch. These pickups provide a balanced response that works well for clean jazz voicings, gritty blues and driven rock tones, making the guitar a flexible tool across multiple genres.
Gibraltar Performer Bridge and Quik Change III Tailpiece
The Gibraltar Performer bridge offers solid contact with the body for reliable sustain and intonation, while the Quik Change III tailpiece is designed to make string changes straightforward and efficient. Combined with the gold hardware and Black Flat finish, the result is a guitar that looks sharp on stage and performs consistently night after night.
