Ibanez ANB205-TWB Adam Nitti Signature 5-String Bass Guitar in Transparent Red Burst

The Ibanez ANB205-TWB is the signature 5-string bass of contemporary jazz virtuoso Adam Nitti, designed from the ground up for clarity, articulation and effortless playability. With premium Bartolini electronics, a lightweight Swamp Ash body and a super-stable 3-piece Maple neck reinforced with titanium rods, this is a modern workhorse for players who demand studio-level tone and rock-solid performance on stage.

Every detail of the ANB205 has been chosen to support a wide dynamic range and fast, precise playing. From the crisp attack of the Maple fretboard and medium, Premium-treated frets to the wide 18mm string spacing and extra scoop cut for upper-fret access, it is built to keep up with advanced techniques, complex lines and extended-range chord work. Finished in a stunning Transparent Red Burst and supplied with an Ibanez Premium gig bag, it is ready to travel and perform at the highest level.

Adam Nitti Signature Design

Created in collaboration with Adam Nitti, the ANB205 reflects the needs of a modern, genre-spanning bassist. Whether you are playing contemporary jazz, fusion, gospel or progressive rock, the instrument is voiced to deliver a clear, balanced response across all five strings, with the versatility to sit perfectly in any mix.

Stable, Fast-Playing Neck

The 3-piece Maple neck is reinforced with KTS TITANIUM rods, significantly increasing stability and resistance to warping. This means more consistent action and tuning over time, even with frequent travel and climate changes. The Maple fretboard offers a bright, articulate attack and focused mids, helping every note speak clearly, while the medium, Premium-treated frets feel smooth and precise under the fingers.

Lightweight Swamp Ash Body

A Swamp Ash body keeps the overall weight down to a comfortable level, ideal for long rehearsals and extended gigs. Tonally, it delivers a bright, resonant character with a tight low end and airy top, giving you plenty of definition for complex lines and chord voicings without sacrificing warmth.

Bartolini Electronics and Pro Hardware

Bartolini 59CBJD pickups provide a wide, open frequency response with extended highs and a clear, musical low end. Paired with the Bartolini NTMB+F ANB custom 3-band EQ and 3-way mid frequency switch, you can fine-tune your sound for any situation, from deep, supportive lows to cutting, solo-ready mids. A Hipshot A-style bridge with 18mm spacing and Gotoh tuners complete the professional hardware package, ensuring precise intonation, comfortable string spacing and reliable tuning stability.

• Bartolini 59CBJD Pickups with Custom 3-band EQ - The Bartolini 59CBJD-S3 neck and 59CBJD-L3 bridge pickups deliver an extended, airy frequency response with tight lows and detailed highs. Combined with the Bartolini NTMB+F ANB custom 3-band EQ and 3-way mid switch, you can sculpt everything from warm, vintage-inspired tones to bright, modern sounds tailored to your playing style.
• 3-piece Maple Neck with KTS TITANIUM Rods - The multi-piece Maple construction and titanium reinforcement provide exceptional neck stability, reducing the risk of movement over time. This gives you a consistently low, comfortable action and reliable tuning, even under the demands of regular gigging and travel.
• Lightweight Swamp Ash Body - Swamp Ash keeps the bass comfortably light while offering a bright, resonant acoustic character. The result is a responsive instrument that feels great on long sets and translates your dynamics and touch with clarity and punch.
• Hipshot A-style Bridge with 18mm Spacing - The Hipshot A-style bridge provides solid contact with the body for improved sustain and note definition. Its wide 18mm string spacing gives your plucking hand more room, making advanced techniques such as slapping, popping and intricate fingerstyle patterns feel natural and controlled.
