Product Description
The Ibanez AE275BT-LGS is a baritone electro acoustic designed for players who want deeper tunings, bigger lows and rock-solid tuning stability without sacrificing comfort. With its 27 inch scale length, solid Sitka Spruce top and Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup, it delivers a powerful, articulate voice that translates beautifully on stage and in the studio.
Whether you are exploring rich open baritone tunings, adding a new texture to your band mix or looking for an inspiring songwriting tool, the AE275BT-LGS offers a highly playable platform with a refined, modern acoustic sound. A comfortable Nyatoh neck, Pau Ferro fretboard and scalloped Pau Ferro bridge work together to maximise resonance and feel, while Ibanez Custom Electronics give you simple, effective tone shaping when plugged in.
Deep Baritone Voice with Enhanced Tuning Stability
The extended 27 inch baritone scale is engineered for lower tunings, increasing string tension so your notes stay clear, focused and in tune. Chords retain definition even when tuned down, while single-note lines feel responsive and controlled. This extra scale length also improves sustain, giving your lines and drones more presence and authority.
Solid Sitka Spruce Top with Okoume Back and Sides
A solid Sitka Spruce top provides a wide dynamic range and rich harmonic content, responding sensitively to both light fingerpicking and more aggressive strumming. Okoume back and sides add warmth in the low end and a strong high-mid presence, helping your sound cut through a mix without becoming harsh. Together they create a balanced, modern acoustic tone that suits everything from ambient soundscapes to singer-songwriter styles.
Comfortable Neck and Resonant Pau Ferro Appointments
The Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck with rounded edges is designed to feel natural in the hand, making extended baritone sessions easier on your fretting hand. A Pau Ferro fretboard offers a smooth playing surface and a balanced tonal response across the frequency range. The Pau Ferro scalloped bridge and ebony bridge pins improve vibration transfer and resonance, helping the guitar ring freely and enhancing both acoustic volume and sustain.
Stage-ready AP11 Pickup and Custom Electronics
The Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup captures a lively, natural acoustic tone with clarity and punch, ideal for live performance. Paired with Ibanez Custom Electronics, you can quickly shape your sound using dedicated bass and treble controls, tailoring your tone to different rooms, ensembles and playing styles. The result is a reliable, gig-ready baritone acoustic that sounds as good plugged in as it does unplugged.
