Product Description
The Ibanez AE245-NT is a stage-ready electro acoustic that blends modern playability with a warm, characterful voice. With its solid Okoume top, Okoume back and sides and advanced X-M bracing, it delivers a rich, mid-focused acoustic tone that translates beautifully when plugged in via the Ibanez T-Bar undersaddle pickup and Custom Electronics preamp. Finished in a Natural high gloss with a striking wooden vine inlay, it is a comfortable, inspiring instrument for singer-songwriters and performers alike.
Designed for effortless playing, the AE245-NT features a Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck with rounded fretboard edges, jumbo frets and a smooth Pau Ferro fingerboard. Practical touches such as Ibanez Advantage bridge pins and a lightweight preamp with built-in mute switch make this guitar a reliable companion for both home use and live performance.
The solid Okoume top responds dynamically to your touch, opening up over time for an even more resonant and expressive sound. Combined with the Pau Ferro bridge and carefully voiced bracing, the AE245-NT offers clear bass, crisp treble and a punchy, present midrange that sits perfectly in a mix.
Comfortable Neck for Effortless Playing
The Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck with rounded fretboard edges is designed to feel natural in your hand, reducing fatigue during longer sessions. Whether you are playing intricate fingerstyle parts or big open chords, the smooth contour and jumbo frets make it easier to fret cleanly and move up and down the neck with confidence.
Warm, Expressive Okoume Tone
A solid Okoume top paired with Okoume back and sides gives the AE245-NT a warm, woody voice with a full midrange and bright detail. The solid top enhances resonance and dynamic response, so your playing nuances are clearly heard, while the body construction provides a rich, punchy character that works well for both strumming and picking.
Stage-Ready Electronics
The Ibanez T-Bar undersaddle pickup accurately captures the guitar’s natural acoustic sound, providing a clear, balanced signal when amplified. Paired with the Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp, you get reliable performance and intuitive control, with a handy mute switch for silent tuning and noise-free breaks between songs.
Enhanced Projection with X-M Bracing
The X-M Bracing system is engineered to optimise the AE245-NT’s acoustic performance, delivering clear bass, crisp treble and improved overall projection. By carefully shaping how the top vibrates, this bracing design helps the guitar produce a focused, articulate sound that carries well, whether you are playing unplugged or through a PA.
