Product Description
The Ibanez AAM50CE-CRO is a modern, gig-ready electro acoustic designed to feel instantly comfortable in your hands and sound inspiring whether you are unplugged at home or on stage. Its Advanced Auditorium body with a cutaway, solid Sitka Spruce top and Sapele back and sides delivers a clear, balanced voice, while the slim Okoume neck and Purpleheart fretboard make chords and melodies feel effortless. With an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup, AEQ-TP2 preamp and A.I.R.port player sound port, it is built to give you a great sound and feel every time you pick it up.
Finished in a striking Coral Red Burst Open Pore, this guitar looks as lively as it sounds. The lightweight design and comfortable 634 mm scale length invite longer playing sessions, and practical touches such as Ibanez Advantage bridge pins and an onboard tuner keep your focus on the music, not the maintenance. Whether you are a developing player looking for a serious first electro acoustic or an experienced guitarist wanting a reliable workhorse, the AAM50CE-CRO offers impressive performance and value.
Comfortable Advanced Auditorium Body
The Advanced Auditorium body shape strikes a sweet spot between comfort and projection. It is compact enough to sit naturally against the body, yet large enough to produce a full, room-filling acoustic tone. The Advanced Access Cutaway lets you reach the upper frets with ease, opening up more melodic and soloing possibilities without fighting the instrument.
Solid Sitka Spruce Top with Sapele Back and Sides
A solid Sitka Spruce top gives the AAM50CE-CRO a lively, responsive character with shimmering highs, tight mids and a broad low end that works well for both fingerstyle and strumming. Sapele back and sides add warmth and projection, helping each note carry clearly while maintaining a pleasing, balanced tonal profile that suits a wide range of musical styles.
Player-Focused Neck and Hardware
The Low Oval Grip Okoume neck is designed for smooth, relaxed playing, making chord changes and barre shapes feel less fatiguing over long sessions. A Purpleheart fretboard and matching Purpleheart bridge enhance note articulation and sustain, while Ibanez Advantage bridge pins make string changes quicker and more secure, ideal for players who rehearse and perform regularly.
Stage-Ready Electronics with A.I.R.port
The Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup captures your acoustic tone with clarity and accuracy, feeding the AEQ-TP2 preamp for easy control of your sound. With a 2-band EQ and built-in tuner, you can quickly shape your tone and stay in tune on stage or in rehearsal. The A.I.R.port on the body side improves what you hear as the player, giving you a more direct, detailed sense of your sound without relying solely on monitors.
