Product Description
The Ibanez AAD381CE-NT is a modern electro acoustic designed to give you a bigger, bolder acoustic voice with effortless playability and plug-in convenience. Its Advanced Grand Dreadnought body delivers impressive volume and projection, while the solid top construction ensures a dynamic, responsive tone that rewards every nuance of your playing. Finished in a sleek natural gloss, it is a versatile workhorse for home, studio and stage.
With a comfortable cutaway for upper fret access and a smooth Nyatoh neck, the AAD381CE-NT feels inviting from the first chord. An Ibanez undersaddle pickup and custom active preamp capture the guitar’s natural character when amplified, with onboard EQ and tuner controls keeping your sound and tuning in check at all times. Whether you are a progressing beginner or a seasoned performer, this guitar offers a powerful, reliable platform for your music.
Advanced Grand Dreadnought Power
The Advanced Grand Dreadnought body shape is engineered for increased acoustic output and a wider dynamic range. Compared to smaller designs, it produces a fuller low end and stronger projection, helping your playing carry in an ensemble or unamplified setting. Strummers and flatpickers in particular will appreciate the extra headroom and authority in every chord.
Solid Top Tonal Response
Solid top construction gives the AAD381CE-NT a more expressive and responsive voice than a typical laminate-topped acoustic. The solid soundboard reacts sensitively to your picking dynamics, offering clear note separation for fingerstyle and a rich, blooming tone when you dig in. Over time, the solid top will continue to open up, rewarding regular playing with even greater warmth and resonance.
Comfortable Cutaway and Playable Neck
The soft cutaway design allows easy access to the higher frets, making lead lines, melodic fills and extended chord voicings far more comfortable. Paired with a smooth Nyatoh neck and clear white dot inlays, the playing experience feels intuitive and controlled across the entire fingerboard, ideal for players exploring more advanced techniques and arrangements.
Stage Ready Electronics
An Ibanez undersaddle pickup works with the Ibanez Custom active EQ to deliver a natural, articulate amplified tone that sits well in any mix. Onboard EQ controls let you quickly tailor your sound to different rooms and systems, while the integrated tuner keeps you in tune without needing extra gear. Powered by a single 9V battery, it is a straightforward, dependable setup for rehearsals, gigs and recording sessions.
Features
- Advanced Grand Dreadnought Body - The larger Advanced Grand Dreadnought design provides increased volume and projection, giving your playing more presence in both solo and band contexts. It delivers a strong low end and powerful midrange that suits strumming, flatpicking and dynamic acoustic performances.
- Solid Top Construction - A solid soundboard enhances tonal richness and responsiveness, offering greater clarity and nuance than laminate alternatives. This means more detail in fingerstyle passages and a more open, resonant character that continues to improve as the guitar is played.
- Cutaway with Electro Acoustic Versatility - The cutaway body shape gives you comfortable access to higher frets for solos and complex chords, while the Ibanez undersaddle pickup and active EQ system ensure your acoustic tone translates clearly when plugged in. This combination makes the guitar equally at home on stage, in the studio or at rehearsal.
- Natural Gloss Finish and Quality Components - A natural gloss polyurethane finish highlights the Okoume body’s grain for a classic acoustic look, while the ebony bridge and bone nut support stable tuning and clear note definition. Chrome hardware completes a clean, modern aesthetic that will appeal to a wide range of players.
