Product Description
The Hohner Blues Harp C Major Harmonica is a true classic, purpose built for that gritty, expressive blues sound. From smoky bends and wailing solos to raw, vocal-like riffs, this iconic harp has been shaping the sound of blues, rock and folk for over half a century. Tuned to C major and part of Hohner’s MS (Modular System) range, it delivers a powerful, focused tone while giving you the flexibility to tailor the instrument to your playing style as your technique develops.
With its double lacquered wooden comb, responsive brass reeds and stainless steel covers, the Blues Harp feels solid and familiar in the hands. It is equally at home with beginners taking their first steps into the world of harmonica and experienced players chasing authentic Chicago-style tones. Thanks to its modular construction, you can easily swap combs, reed plates and covers with other MS series models, opening up a world of custom combinations without having to change the harp you already know and love.
Whether you are sitting in at a jam night, recording in the studio or simply playing along to your favourite records, the Hohner Blues Harp C Major offers the sound, feel and flexibility that have made it a go-to choice for generations of players.
Classic Blues Tone
The Blues Harp is voiced for the unmistakable, smoky blues sound that players crave. Its 20 brass reeds and traditional tuning respond beautifully to bends, vibrato and dynamic playing, giving you a punchy, expressive tone that cuts through a mix while still sounding warm and organic.
Comfortable Wooden Comb
A brown doussie wooden comb, finished with a double lacquer, provides a comfortable, familiar feel at the lips and in the hands. The wood adds a touch of natural warmth to the sound and the lacquer helps protect the comb while offering a smooth, pleasant playing surface.
Modular MS Construction
As part of Hohner’s MS series, the Blues Harp features a fully modular design. The comb, reed plates and cover plates are all interchangeable with other MS models, so you can mix and match components to fine-tune the response, tone and feel of your harmonica quickly and easily.
Durable, Road-Ready Build
Stainless steel cover plates and robust brass reed plates ensure the Blues Harp is built to withstand regular playing. The combination of sturdy materials and time-tested design makes it a reliable companion for practice, performance and everything in between.
