Product Description
The Hercules DJControl Starlight is an ultra compact, USB powered DJ controller designed to let you mix anywhere with Serato DJ Lite. With a built in audio interface, responsive jog wheels, performance pads and eye catching RGB base lighting that reacts to your tracks, it is a fun and portable way to learn, practise or perform on the move.
Despite its small footprint, DJControl Starlight gives you all the essential tools to beatmatch, trigger cues, fire off loops and control effects, with simple controls that make it ideal for beginners and a handy backup option for experienced DJs. Plug it into your laptop, connect headphones and speakers, and you are ready to start mixing straight away.
Portable Mixing with Serato DJ Lite
DJControl Starlight is built around Serato DJ Lite, the streamlined version of Serato that keeps all the core tools you need to learn how to mix and scratch. The layout mirrors the software, so it is easy to follow along with on screen tutorials and build good habits from day one. Because it is so compact and USB powered, you can throw it in a bag and be ready to DJ at house parties, small gatherings or impromptu sessions wherever you go.
Built In Audio for Headphones and Speakers
A built in sound card gives you separate outputs for your master mix and headphones, so you can pre listen and beatmatch like a club DJ. Simply connect your speakers to the master output, plug your headphones into the dedicated headphone output, and you can cue up the next track without the crowd hearing. There is no need for extra audio hardware, keeping your setup clean and straightforward.
Reactive RGB Base Lighting
The controller features RGB backlighting in the base with strobe style effects that can be controlled via Serato DJ Lite. The lighting reacts to the rhythm of your mix, adding a visual element that helps you feel the groove and brings extra atmosphere to dark rooms or party environments. It is a simple way to make your set look as lively as it sounds.
All the Essentials in a Compact Layout
Each deck on DJControl Starlight is equipped with a touch sensitive jog wheel, four performance pads with four modes, and a tempo fader, giving you hands on control for mixing and performance. On the mixer section you get bass EQ or filter knobs and volume controls for each deck, along with a crossfader and master volume. The result is a familiar two deck layout that covers the essentials without taking up much space, making it ideal for tight desks or as a backup controller alongside a larger rig.
