Product Description

Industrial-Strength Power Pedals

For fourteen years, the famous BOSS FV-300 served as an industry-standard volume pedal. The tradition continued with the FV-50 series, but today the bar has been raised with BOSS's new FV-500H (high-impedance) and FV-500L (low-impedance) pedals. These tank-tough diecast pedals are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. The pedals offer a new stylish design, a road-tough build, and a comfortable, smooth action. Both models also provide an Expression output for use with expression-compatible amps, effects, and even synthesizers.

  • - Heavy-duty aluminium die casting body
  • - Ultra-smooth pedal movement for the utmost in comfort and control
  • - Adjustable pedal feel (torque)
  • - Pedal rubber is for comfortable play and non-slip action
  • - Expression pedal function
  • - Convenient tuner-output jack

Bought for use with my Kawai ES8 piano. Very good so far- nice, smooth progressive action. The ability to set a minimum volume is a great feature. Very solid and chunky feel.

Every Boss product I've bought is rock-solid, and this is the same. I bought it to replace a cheap Fender volume pedal that had a really nasty feel to the action, but this is just quality, no comparison, should have just gone to the Boss in the first place. It's huge though, so consider the compact version if you use yours on a board.

Great quality, built like a tank and looks the business too!

Excellent build quality, one minor gripe. Volume travel is to short i.e. it tends to be either on or off - by comparison with a Goodrich volume pedal I once owned.
