Product Description

Want a super-affordable pedal that can help you to precisely tweak and tailor your tone to perfection? The Landlord FX Knees Up EQ might be the secret weapon that your rig needs! Designed to easily squeeze onto any pedalboard thanks to its practical, mini-sized enclosure — the Knees Up is a no-brainer for the fastidious tone-chaser on a budget.

Flexible 5-Band EQ

An EQ pedal allows you to really sculpt your guitar sound, as you can cut or boost certain frequencies in your signal. The Knees Up offers five frequency bands — 100Hz, 250Hz, 630Hz, 1.6kHz and 4kHz — which can be boosted or cut by up to 18dB of adjustable gain. For a pedal of its size, five EQ bands will give you plenty to play around with and the unit can therefore be used in a variety of ways. For example, cut the mids to achieve a scooped metal tone, boost the lows to fatten up a thin-sounding amp, or pump the mids and highs to make your big solo cut through in the mix. The convenient master volume control can also serve as an overall level boost!

Great little EQ and boost pedal. Nice small footprint. Really minor note - I had to peel of the rubber grip to get my Velcro to stick. The pedal is too tightly packed with electronics to flip the back plate.

It was time I got an EQ pedal to use as a boost for leads. This is a simple 5-band in a mini-format which is great. Sound are good and boost and cut frequencies as they should. The sliders a little sensitive at the top of their range which is a bit tricky to adjust. You might find a little work in fine-tuning with different instruments and their pickup response. The sliders are very small of course, so I hope they stand-up over time. A good point is that it is not a noisy pedal. Some EQs generate hiss when on but this remains quiet, except for additional hum when you boost the levels, which is to be expected. Also the volume control is great for using a clean boost or just adding a bit of extra push when on, which i what I'm using it for.
