Product Description
The Gretsch Limited Edition Electromatic Black Limba Jet in Sunburst takes the classic Jet silhouette and injects it with an exotic twist. With a fully Black Limba construction, PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers and advanced coil split electronics, it delivers everything from glassy chime to muscular rock tones, all wrapped up in a luxurious high gloss finish with gold hardware.
Carefully crafted for pure Gretsch power and fidelity, this Electromatic Jet is designed to feel as good as it sounds. The chambered body keeps things lightweight and resonant, the sculpted contours sit comfortably against your body, and the Performance C neck profile with ebony fingerboard makes fast runs and expressive bends feel effortless. Whether you live in pristine cleans or saturated overdrive, this limited edition Jet is built to inspire every time you plug in.
Exotic Black Limba Construction
Black Limba is not only visually striking, it also brings a smooth, rich midrange and strong presence that helps every note speak clearly. The chambered body and carved top add extra resonance and sustain, while keeping the guitar comfortable for long sets. Combined with the set Black Limba neck, you get a lively, harmonically rich response that works brilliantly for everything from rootsy rhythm parts to soaring leads.
PureVolt Twin Six Humbuckers and Advanced Electronics
The PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers are voiced to cover a huge tonal range, from robust, articulate cleans to aggressive overdrive with plenty of punch. Thanks to the treble bleed circuit, your tone stays clear and defined as you roll back the master volume, making it easy to clean up a driven amp from the guitar. Push pull coil splits on the tone controls unlock convincing single coil style sparkle, giving you a full palette of sounds without changing guitars.
Player Focused Feel and Playability
Every detail of this Electromatic Jet is geared towards effortless performance. The Performance C neck profile offers a modern, comfortable feel that suits a wide range of playing styles, while the 12 inch radius ebony fingerboard and medium jumbo frets make bends, vibrato and fast passages smooth and controlled. Sculpted forearm and body contours, along with a rounded heel, give you an ergonomic playing experience both seated and standing.
LockDown Bridge and Premium Appointments
The LockDown locking adjustable wraparound bridge anchors your tone with rock solid stability and excellent intonation. Combined with the Graph Tech NuBone nut and die cast sealed tuners, tuning stays consistent even with enthusiastic playing. Gold hardware, pearloid Neo Classic thumbnail inlays and the distinctive split V headstock complete the look, giving this limited edition Jet a stage ready presence that is unmistakably Gretsch.
