Gibson x Loog Les Paul Electric Guitar in Frost Blue

Specialist children’s guitar maker Loog have officially teamed up with the legendary Gibson guitar company to bring you a mini version of the iconic Les Paul electric. While the full size single-cut Les Paul might be too much for a young beginner guitarist to wrap both their head and hands around, this dinky recreation makes it significantly more accessible to kids and adheres to the instantly recognisable style of the original.

Authentic Gibson looks and sound

These short-scale, small body guitars offer an authentic playing experience for children aged six and up. Featuring fantastic woods like poplar and Canadian maple and custom-made hardware, this is a great feeling instrument made to be played every day with exceptional comfort for both kids and adults.

This guitar is also equipped with a single-coil dog-ear style guitar pickup designed with Gibson to deliver crisp, cutting, singing rock tones. It’s kitted out with a pickguard and control knob in the exact style of a Gibson Les Paul, including the genuine Gibson-catalogue colour. Growing musicians will have a great time playing the Loog x Gibson Les Paul throughout their formative years.

Three string design for youngsters

The big difference between the Loog and a full-sized electric are its three strings in place of the standard six. This makes playing single notes and chords much easier for smaller hands and new players to process. Everything learned by playing a Loog can be applied to a full-sized guitar when your rockstar is ready to make that step up.

Perfect scale length for growing guitarists

Children aged six and up will find the Pro Loog to be the ideal size because it has a scale length of 20.6-inches, meaning there's a shorter gap between frets suited for growing hands than a full-size guitar. It also comes with 19 frets – just three less than the Les Paul – to provide room to get creative with their playing.

Accessories, video lessons and flash cards all included

Your new Loog comes with plectrums used to pluck the guitar strings, flashcards to quickly memorise how to play chords and notes, and access to the brilliant Loog app. Explore a library of games, video lessons, a learn-to-play songbook with note-by-note tutorials, and even an interactive TV show to make learning really fun!
